    Assistant Professor Elsa Feng Xue, Engineering, SIT was interviewed regarding the new Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) which the EU is adopting, and NEA/LTA is considering implementing. Asst Prof Elsa said that Singapore currently adopts the internationally-recognised Euro VI emission standard, and if the authorities feels that there is a need to further tighten emission regulations, it is likely that Singapore will adopt the same European standards.
