October 2017
Dear BETA Families and Staff,

Happy fall to all! We are so excited to have begun a successful year paving our pathways
to top colleges and rewarding careers. Please know that YOUR involvement as parents, students
and staff are what makes the BETA experience positive, enriching and meaningful. YOU are
BETA. It is with your time and effort that our school thrives, and BETA students become lifelong
learners!

We enjoyed seeing many of you at our Curriculum Night in September. For those of you
who missed it, all cohort conversations were around graduation as well as college and career
readiness. We must stress that your child must be here, present, in school every day to succeed.
School attendance is a major contributing factor for school success. After school tutoring, clubs
and a variety of opportunities will begin the week of October 16th and please check out the
website www.betahs.com for the monthly calendar, updates and announcements. Please contact
your childs counselor for information regarding Skedula.
