The Chaims E-comm and

plaza is a telecommunication
company that aims to provide
network providers a workable
environment modern office.
This proposed 10 storey with
roof deck plaza building
project is a 1200 (30 x 40)
square meter commercial
structure which shall stand in
Ortigas Avenue, Pasig city.
The main purpose of the
project is for it to withstand
7.2 magnitude earthquakes
which is called The Big One
as the building is located less than
20 meters from a known west
valley fault line at Ortigas. The
group used Reinforced Concrete
Design Analysis, Pre-Stressed
Concrete Design Analysis and
Steel Design Analysis based on
The National Structural Code of
the Philippines (NSCP) 2015. Safety is the the highest ranked in
importance for the constraints of
the building considering the
applied codes and standards in
seismic analysis with economic
cost and constructability next in it
respectively

The design aims to endure the

Earthquake without collapsing and
to still have best condition during
the big one through the
collaboration of the members. The
building is to set a direct dialogue
with all the standards for which the
planning have been invested to
create such a structure.
