Sub.:- Arranging of meeting between LACs of this Authority and the UTPs/ Convicts
represented by them at the U.T.P. Help Desk set up at Dwarka Courts Lock-Up.

Sir,

As you are already aware two Help Desks for Under Trial Prisioners (UTP's) set up
at Dwarka Court Lock-Up have become functional w.e.f.26'h September, 2017. Out of them,
one is a dedicated Help Desk for all UTP's whose cases are pending trial in Dwarka Courts.
The same is being manned by a Legal Aid Counsel on daily basis from 10.00 AM to 05.00
PM (including Sunday & Holidays) for providing Legal Counselling/ Legal Aid to the UTPs
who may require them. The second Help Desk has been set up to provide a platform to the
UTP's, whose cases are being represented by LAC's of this Authority, for meeting with the
I fAC's to discuss about their case, so as to enable them to put forth their defence in an
I effective manner and also to make them aware about the progress of their cases.
