Decline of Mahatma Gandhi

This has never been discussed in Mainstream Indian media.
Towards 1945 , Mahatma Gandhi had been sidelined within the Congress

Congress Party was run by Jawaharlal Nehru and Sardar Vallabhai Patel
( Not Mahatma Gandhi ).

gave detailed, often provocative instructions to his followers as to how to

who left after refusing to print parts of Mahatma Gandhi's sermons

Finally RIN Mutiny broke out on February 18, 1946.
20,000 Navy Sailors of Indian origin went on strike, the unrest spread
swiftly to shore establishments from the initial flashpoint in Bombay to
Karachi, Cochin, Vishakhapatnam and Calcutta, involving 78 ships, 20
shore establishments.
The same day, that is, on February 20, different Army units, members of the
police force, students and workers organizations went on sympathetic
strikes. About 1200 RIAF (Royal Indian Air Force) men went on a
procession in support of their strike. They were joined by the Naval
Accounts civilian staff, who also went on strike.
Indian officers of the RIAF refused to fly out troops, and the transport units
refused to carry British troops to fight the naval ratings and the Indian
officers refused to pilot planes to bomb the ships. The strike found immense
support among the Indian population, already gripped by the stories of the
Indian National Army. As the ratings stepped on the shore they were
greeted and welcomed by the people with slogans of national unity. They
were embraced by the crowd. People gave them baskets of food and
showered flowers on them.
They were all inspired by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and his INA ( not
Mahatma Gandhi or Jawaharlal Nehru ).
The British Empire already pauperized by World War 2 , RIN Mutiny
rang the death-knell of the mighty British Empire and paved the way for
