OBJECTIVE OF STUDY
To study various ways to influence customer purchase and convert them into sales
. Research Methodology Nature and Population The population consists of the residents of the
nearby locality of the stores under study and due to time constraints, only 325 customers from
various outlets were used for the study. Sampling Technique The method of sampling technique
which I would like to use in this is structured interview. A structured interview (also known as
standardized interview or a researcher administered interview) is a quantitative research
method commonly employed in survey research. The aim of this approach is to ensure that each
interview is presented with exactly the same questions in the same order. This ensures that
answers can be reliably aggregated and that comparisons can be made with confidence between
sample subgroups or between different survey periods. The reason why I selected structured
interview as my sampling technique is because it provides less distorted information from the
mind of the common people. After all, retail industry is all about people and their satisfaction.
