2017 Big Wins
1) Implement V2 roll out to around 300 CHPs by training them on the new app changes and supporting
them in the field. Moreover, monitor any bugs that hinder CHP performance and reported them
immediately for fixing.
2) Deploy the Supervisor App to 3 branches and collaborate with colleagues in training staff on its use for
better CHP supervision.
3) Troubleshoot all phone issues and rolling out updates.
4) Collaborate with other departments such as the training team by supporting ICCM trainings and training
CHPs on android use.
5) Offer suggestions about new technologies such as CHP phones and improvements for the Living Goods
App.
6) Support the rollout and implementation of the Enterprise Resource Planning.

Progress so far:

1. Branch tech support


I have offered support to branches and colleagues on a varied range of tech issues such as jammed printers,
speeding up slow machines by defragmenting hdd, updating expired antivirus, fixing QuickBooks crashes or
when it doesnt start up, swapping damaged CHP phones on time, disabling windows update to preserve data
bundles, finding and sharing a POS printer installer that makes it easier to install POS drivers and sharing basic
computer troubleshooting tips.I also helped them update their tablets and configure settings and trained the staff
on pulling printer reports and using chromecast.

2. CHP Tech support


To ensure that the CHP phone issues are resolved on time,I have trained one staff in each branch to be the
Android go to person in case of my absence. This has improved the service delivery to the CHPs and ensured
that issues dont pile up. I have rolled out the Large App Fix to about 300 CHVs and also trained branch staff i.e
Makate in Butula, on how to do the same so that he can offer support to expedite the process. I have tackeld app
issues and re-trained CHVs in areas such as editing info, nil assessments, updating EDD, during in-services
while also collecting their feedback on future app improvements.

3. ICCM Training Support


In this quarter, I have supported two ICCM trainings and during this time, trained CHPs on the basic phone use
while making sure that their phones were ready for use by setting up their user accounts.I assisted weak CHVs
by giving them one on one trainings on the SmartHealth App and also helped the training team do clinical and
pregnacy certifications as they were short staffed.

4. Inventory Management
Im successfully managing tech inventory in four branches by keeping tabs on phones in and out of the branch
and the machines allocated to the staff. I ensure that damages are dispatched to HQ and request for
replacements on time.

I am enrolling for a Masters in Project Management and scheduled to begin classes in January.

1. With the Innovations Network Programme starting soon, I would like to get a piece of some of the action. If
there is an issue with overlap in skills, then we should be told what kind will be required and the positions
that will be available.
2. The increase in cohorts and branches has led to an increase in workload which is yet to translate into a
proper remuneration package. It also seems like well be embarking on new projects next year which will
broaden our scope. We have never had any salary review or discussions so this is the best time to do it with
the concerned party i.e Tech Director.
3. I am still waiting for the rights to delete or archive dead people or families in the V2 app.
