Suspensions

Suspensions can be used to add movement and harmonic colour to otherwise basic progessions. Anytime there is
movement between chord I and chord V there is a suspension opportunity. Delay a note, create a suspension.

Suspensions have three stages. 1. they must be prepared (for at least as long as they're sounded).
2. then sounded.
3. Then resolved downward by step
