Regarding the procedure for new MEXT students (for October, 2017)

Please finish the procedure for enrollment and the various procedures during the following period.
Kindly consult with us in advance if you could not manage to come or if your arrival date is later than
this session.

Place: Student Affairs Division, Faculty of Engineering (#203, 2nd floor in the West 4 building)

Period of the procedure for MEXT: from October 2nd to October 6th, 2017 at 5:00pm

Necessary Documents :
Boarding Pass
Passbook of JP (post office) bank JP
Residence card

In addition, please sign on the following documents

Guidance on sign-up process for stipend

Letter of trust

Also, you have to complete the entrance procedure.

(Please follow instructions given by the supporter)

Open a YUCHO bank (Japan Post Bank) account

Please open a bank account in either way.

I. Go to the JP bank directly (Recommend)

Please go to the Ward Office and register someone as a local citizen.

Next, please go to Post Office(JP Bank) and open your account.

After you get the JP Bank book, please come to our office with the above documents )-):

II Kyushu University holds a JP bank account opening session as follows:

Please make sure to bring your residence card that has your current address on the back, and your
passport. If your current address has not been written on the back yet, you are also required to bring
Certificate of Residence issued by the ward office in addition to the two documents mentioned above.

In case of II, You will receive the bank book around the end of October, 2017. It means the payday of
October will be delayed.
