Notes:
1. SS304 wire mesh to be placed below the catalyst bed:
- Double layer of 0.007x0.007 inch, wire =0.0055 inch (top)
- 0.125x0.125 inch, wire =0.025 inch (middle)
- 0.375x0.375inch, wire =0.075 inch (bottom)
Size of wire meshes:
- 0.007x0.007 inch mesh to be extended 4 inch up against the reactor inner wall and catalyst chute
- 0.125x0.125 inch mesh to fit with reactor inner wall and catalyst chute
- 0.375x0.375 inch mesh to fit with reactor inner wall and catalyst chute
Wire meshes to be tighten against catalyst chute with labyrint seal arrangement
indicated in detail a. However, 0.1875 inch SS liner is not required around catalyst chute. 0.03125 inch SS
seal strip to be welded directly to catalyst chute.
2. SS304 wire mesh on ellipsoidal dish: double layer of wire mesh: 0.375x0.375 inch opening, wire 0.075 mm
perforation of ellipsoidal dish: 0.75 inch, pitch 1.3125 inch
