medical offices, labs, and exam rooms, as well as a physical therapy center and a pharmacy. The project incorporates
a green roof and was designed to meet the LEED Gold standard. Patrick served as principal-in-charge for the project.

. This 91 ,000 sf three-story building houses research studios, offices, classrooms, art galleries, and a recital hall. The
project utilized a CM at Risk delivery model with a construction cost of $58 million. Patrick served as

This project renovated portions of an existing student union building on the UCSF campus in several phases. Renovations studied
include addition of new stairways and elevators, addition of a small mezzanine, and reconfiguration of several existing spaces for
new uses. Our structural team provided advice on seismic retrofit measures that would be triggered by various options as well as
design of structural modifications required by the renovation efforts. Patrick served as Principal-in-Charge for the project.

Mission Hall is a 266,000 sf, concrete shear wall building at the University of California San Francisco.
It houses faculty offices, classrooms, a cafe and the Chancellor's office. The project was delivered by a
design-build team, and our structural team worked closely with the contractor and other design
consultants to meet the aggressive two-year design and construction schedule. The $93 million project
was delivered on time and on budget. Patrick and Maureen completed this work while employed by
Rutherford + Chekene. This project illustrates our experience in the design of complex new buidling
structures with higher performance criteria than would be specified for basic code compliance.

For this three year contract, our structural team served as a sub consultant to an architect to provide
structural engineering services for several small projects including: construction of an automated ex1t lane
to a secure terminal exit, addition of fixed and movable passenger boarding bridges for two new airline gates
and the addition of a new exterior monument sign for the airport. The project budgets ranged from several
hundred thousand dollars to $10 million dollars. We completed each of these projects while employed by
Rutherford+Chekene. These projects illustrate our experience in successfully delivering multiple projects of
various sizes simultaneously for a government agency under an indefinite quantity contract.

The Exploratorium relocated its entire children's science museum facilities to Piers 15 and 17 on the San
Francisco waterfront. Our structural team was responsible for the repairs, seismic retrofit, and
mezzanine additions to historic Pier 15, as well as repairs and the replacement of the tugboat dock at
Pier 17. The $300 million project provided the Exploratorium with 330,000 sf of exhibit, office,
classroom, workshop, and storage space. This project was completed while employed at Rutherford+
Cbekene It iJJustrates our ability to complete technically challenging seismic retrofit and renovation
projects of historic building structures. The project incorporated timber, steel, and concrete materials
and durability issues in the marine environment.

The project consisted oftwo buildings: a one-story 12,000 sf steel framed with concrete
masom:y unit walls dining hall, and a 23,000 sf two-story steel framed administrative building.
The total construction cost was $16.8 million. and targeted a LEED Gold sustainability rating.
We completed this project while employed at Rutherford+ Chekene. This project illustrates
om experience providing cost effective stmctural solutions for new building projects and our
ability to work collaboratively with institutional owners in the public sector

With 40 plus combined years of experience at other firms, Patrick and Maureen recently launched
their new firm providing consulting structural engineering services in the Northern California.
