Data Extraction, Transformation and Cube Management

ElegantJ BI can connect and extract data from existing ERP

systems, other business transaction applications, and
relational databases and data files.

It connects to different data sources to retrieve data,

transforms this data based on logical rules and loads the data
on a multidimensional structure called Cube. Cube repository
serves as enterprise-wide uniform information repository and
enforces common view of data throughout the organization.

OLAP Analysis

ElegantJ BI empowers users with Online Analytical Processing

(OLAP) tools to perform highly flexible slice-n-dice, drill-down
and drill-through operations on corporate data repository to

ElegantJ BI users are named user licenses (NUL) which are device independent. These users can login to
the ElegantJ BI system through a supported browser from any device within or outside their premise.

ElegantJ BI - Administrator User

Administrator user can use administration interface and can perform various administration tasks like
user management, repository management and access rights management. Administrator user can
create data source profiles, create and manage metadata and cubes, can configure various schedulers
and has access to various application and system logs. Administrator User can create and modify
frontend BI objects like dashboards, analysis, graphs, key performance indicators (KPI), and reports.

ElegantJ BI Power User

Power User can create and modify frontend BI objects like dashboards, analysis, graphs, key
performance indicators (KPI), and reports. There is no separate developer user for creating front-end BI
objects; Power User can do development for all BI frontend objects. Power User can develop and modify
various BI objects and perform advanced analytics and ad-hoc analysis.

ElegantJ BI - User

BI User can view and interact with different fronted BI objects like analysis, graphs, KPI and dashboards
as per their access rights and perform basic drill down, filters and other analytic functions.

2.2 AMC & Support

Annual Maintenance & Support AMC is free of cost for the first year from the date of installation.
From second year onwards, AMC will be charged at 20% of the license cost per annum.
AMC includes product bug fixes, product upgrades and off-site support for product related issues.

AMC renewal charges after the lapse of AMC renewal Date: In case AMC is not renewed on due date,
AMC is calculated on pro-rata basis for the lapse period in addition to the standard AMC charges for the
one year period starting from the date of renewal. The applicable charges of AMC for this lapse period
will be two times the standard AMC charges calculated as per the list prices prevailing at the time of
renewal. Calculation of the effective AMC charges covering the renewal for the lapse period and the new
period will be as: [2 x {(X/12) x Y}] + X; where, X = AMC Charges for the new annum as per the
prevailing list price; Y = The lapse period in number of months

Notes:

Support available off-site from our development center in Ahmedabad, India,

through phone, email, fax and web during business hours in working days except
Indian public holidays
Support has to be utilized as per fair usage policy of the company
AMC support does not include any training or implementation support
No customization is offered on ElegantJ BI product. There is no restriction on
customization for dashboards, reports or other BI objects, as ElegantJ BI is a self-
serving BI environment

3 ElegantJ BI Training, Implementation and Consulting

Services

3.1 ElegantJ BI Training to Customer

One time online training of 4 hours (2 sessions of 2 hours each) will be provided to customer at no
extra cost. Additional training or consulting will be charged as per rates mentioned in this section

3.4 Notes

One Man Day consists of eight (8) hours

Minimum Man Day session time is four (4) hours per day
Training, implementation, and consulting services are provided remotely through web conference
session from our development center in Ahmadabad, India
Training, implementation, and consulting services are chargeable on man-day basis. Client can
choose to extend or reduce the consulting and support required during implementation
considering requirements and participation of clients team during implementation
For onsite training, implementation and consulting services, minimum man day session time is
eight (8) hours per day, and additional charge of INR 2,000 per man-day will be levied. All onsite
expenses like travel, lodging, and boarding at actual; to be reimbursed within 7 days

4 Payment & Other Terms

4.1 Payment Terms

License cost: 50% advance along with the purchase order and 50% after completion
AMC: Yearly, in advance from second year
Taxes extra, as applicable.
Additional Training, Implementation, Consulting Cost: 50% advance, 50% on completion

4.2 Other Terms & Notes

The service terms and usage of ElegantJBI is subject to the EULA supplied by the Company
AMC rates, Consulting, Implementation and Training rates are subject to change after one year
Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate of 18% per annum and all costs of collection
incurred
Any proposal(s) submitted before this proposal (if any), is considered null and void
Terms, conditions, and policies are subject to change without any prior notice by the Company
Subject to the jurisdiction of Ahmedabad, India
This proposal is valid for 30 days
