Predicted Phylogenetic tree

Claim and Reasoning:

Organisms with similar traits will most likely have closer relationships. They will have
closer relationships because they share multiple characteristics.

Actual Phylogenetic tree

Claim and reasoning:

Homo Sapiens will have a very close relationship to the Pan Troglodytes because they
shares almost all characteristics with one another. The Anser Anser Anser and the Caretta
Caretta was similar in some characters but broke off into a base taxon. Because of the lack in
similarities, the two species do not have a somewhat close relationship. The Bos Taurus and
the Ovis Aries have a close relationship. They Share all the same characteristics and they
almost the same amount of HBB ( share 93.1%).

Part three
new organism phylogenetic tree

Claim and reasoning:

All of the organisms will branch of rather quickly because they shared some
characteristics but developed into their own species. The phylogenetic tree supports the claim
because you can see that the different species broke off of one another early in the tree.
