GoodsmovementscanbeperformedinInventoryManagementusing:

Integration
In SAPCatchWeightManagement ( SAPCWM ),thevaluationtakesplaceinInventory
Accounting.
Forthisreason,onlyquantitiesareenteredinInventoryManagement.Thecorrespondingvaluesare
calculatedininventoryaccounting.Theresultofthisisthat,aswithalldocumentsthatarecreatedin
inventorymanagement,thepurchaseorderhistorycontainsnovalues,onlyquantities.
Forvaluationpurposes,inventoryaccountingalwaysusesthequantitywhoseunitofmeasureis
definedinthematerialmasterasthevaluationunitofmeasure.Thiscanbeeitherthequantityinthe
baseunitofmeasureorparallelunitofmeasure(seealsoDefiningMaterialMasterDataforaCatch
WeightMaterial).

Features

EnteringtheParallelQuantity
Forgoodsmovementswithcatchweightmaterials,itisnecessarytospecifythequantityinboththe
entryunitofmeasureandtheparallelentryunitofmeasure.Ifnecessary,thepurchaseorderprice
quantityistakenfromtheentryquantity.
Theentryquantityandtheparallelentryquantityareconnectedasdescribedbelow:
Ifyoudefineonlyoneofthetwoentryquantities,thesystemproposesthequantitythathas
notbeenentered.
