The essence of being human is that one does not seek for perfection by George
Orwell.
The movie film Gandhi was very remarkable since it had depicted well the struggle of
India under the British Empire and the leading aspirations of Mohandas Gandhi together with
his advocacies promoting a nonviolent movement as a resistance and disobedience against the
upholding power in order to gain their independence.
In the movie, as I saw it, Gandhi was the first attorney to be, during that time which he
was traveling by the train going to South Africa, it was an experience that shock him at the first
place on how it was degrading to his part, to be thrown outside a train for the reason that hes
an Indian and he doesnt have the right to stay at the part of the train that was just for the
whites, which gives him a deeper realization that it must be the time now to fight for their
right. Actually as Gandhi, a fully educated person, he was wide open for possibilities that may
part take thats why he could freely accept it. He leaded the Civil Disobedience movements at
South Africa which started at the burning of their passes provoking their right to be treated just
and equal like other individuals. Many times Gandhi went in and out the prison cell due to his
actions of leading the people to make stand for their right but he never lose hope. He was very
firm to his stand that, that through our pain we will make them see their injustices and it will
hurt as Gandhi and said it convincing his fellow men to stay in a nonviolent way of fighting
against the British Empire. As his inspiring words says, they may torture my body, break my
bone, even kill me, then they will have my dead body not my obedience it awakens the
patriotism within the people and they were convinced to fight for their own.
As like any struggle was, the fight of India for independence took then so long to achieve
that it have to lose them so many lives, innocent civilians; the old, women and children, it is
very cruel, as I watch what did the British Empire did. But on the later part of their struggle at
least they had achieved it, during the time when Gandhi goes back to India and started there to
live as an ordinary man learning his country and influencing others about his teachings and
fighting in a nonviolent way.
At the time that India gains their independence, as well as Pakistan. It had proven that
truly that in some reason, two distinct liquid could never be mixed, like oil and water. The
movie Gandhi I may say that it was one of the best movies I have seen. For it captures the
heart and mind of the viewers. Now, I really idolized the way how Gandhi fight for their right,
no matter how it was hard to achieve, he never gives up, that finally he make it.
