Question 3: Is there a significant effect on the number of hours of sleep of

the respondents when Music Therapy is applied?

Table 5

Significant effect on the numbers of hours of sleep of the respondents

when music therapy is applied.

F Ratio P value Interpretation Decision

20.110 <0.001 Significant Reject Ho

Table 5 shows that the given result with regards to significant effect on
the numbers of hours of sleep of the respondents when music therapy is
applied shows positive changes that make the researcher concluded it is
significant. If P value is lower than 0.05, the treatment is considered
effective. The actual result shows a lower P value, therefore, it is significant.
Hence, null hypothesis is rejected, stating that music therapy has no effect in
the quantity of sleep.

Yes, there is a significant effect in the hours of sleep of the

respondents when the music therapy is applied because as seen in the
computed value for P value is lesser than the standard which is 0.05
therefore it is considered a significant effect on the study itself.

Question 4: Is there a significant effect on the number of minutes prior to

sleep of the respondents when Music Therapy is applied?

Table 6

Significant effect on the number of minutes before sleep of the respondents

when music therapy is applied.

F Ratio P value Interpretation Decision

20.110 <0.001 Significant Reject Ho

Table 6 shows that the actual result in relation to the significant effect
on the numbers of minutes of sleep of the respondents when music therapy
is applied. Null hypothesis was rejected due to the lower value of P value to
0.5 marks that make the result of the study significant.

The table above concluded that the P value is lesser than the standard
value which is 0.05 therefore it is considered that there is a significant effect
in the minutes of sleep of the respondents when music therapy is applied
which points out to the answer to number 4 question.

Question 5: Is there a significant effect on the number of hours of

sleep of the respondents when Relaxation Therapy is applied?

Table 7

Significant effect on the numbers of hours of sleep of the respondents when

relaxation therapy is applied.

F Ratio P value Interpretation Decision

28.923 <0.001 Significant Reject Ho

Table 7 shows that the result with regards to significant effect on the
numbers of hours of sleep of the respondents when relaxation therapy is
applied was significant and shows a positive result increasing the hours of
sleep of the subjects as evidence by the P. value less than 0.05

The ANOVA is used to compute for the F ratio and P value for this given
data which results that if any P value that is lesser than 0.05 can considered
as significant to the study therefore it shows that there is a significant effect
on the hours of sleep of the respondents when the relaxation therapy is
applied which answers our question number 5.

Question 6: Is there a significant effect on the number of minutes

prior to sleep of the respondents when Relaxation Therapy is
applied?
Table 8

Significant effect on the number of minutes before sleep of the respondents

when relaxation therapy is applied.

F Ratio P value Interpretation Decision

4.580 0.013 Significant Reject Ho

Table 8 shows that the given result with regards to significant effect on
the numbers of minutes of sleep of the respondents when relaxation therapy
is applied was significant and our stated hypothesis was rejected. These
Tables connotes that both music and relaxation therapy affects the patients
positively as evidence by the P value less than 0.5, that turns out null
hypothesis to be rejected. The study progress accordingly at pre-assessment
phase there is only slight change on the pattern of there sleep and its quality
and duration but progresses on the consecutive days we do the treatment.
ANOVA and T-test Statistical treatment are being used.

By the use of ANOVA, the data that is shown above which the P value
is still lesser than 0.05 therefore it concludes that; yes, there is a significant
effect on the minutes of sleep of the respondents when relaxation therapy is
applied.
