1. What is viscosity?

is the internal friction of a fluid caused by molecular attraction, which makes it resist the
tendency to flow.

2. Why is viscosity important?

Is important in determining the character of the flow of fluids and the amount of energy
lost in a fluid flowing in a system.

3. What is compressibility?
is the change in volume of a substance subject to a change in the pressure exerted on it.

4. What is the specific weight?

is the amount of weight per unit volume of a substance.

5. What is density?
is the amount of mass present per unit volume in a substance

6. what is mass (m)?

Property of the body of a fluid which represents a measure of the inertia or resistance of
the fluid before a change in its motion.

7. what is weight (w)?

It is the amount the body weighs in a fluid.
The force with which the fluid is attracted towards the Earth by the effect of gravity
