Recommendations / Agreement
Would you have suggestions for the The teacher should have made

made sure that everyone should
have participated
Would you adopt/adapt the lesson Definitely, I will adapt the teaching
presented? strategy, and will also assign a
student for the attendance
B. Personal Reflection
First, I commend the teacher in assigning a student for the class attendance. This saves time and
effort in checking the attendance. And of course, the teacher has a unique way of presenting the
lesson. She discussed the lesson through telling a story. Two thumbs up!
Yes. It was adequately and skillfully prepared. She has mastery with the subject-matter and
presented the lesson with colorful visual aids.
3. Did she make use of additional materials appropriate to the purposes of the lesson? Yes?
No? (Please justify your answer)
Yes. It was ARTISTICALLY prepared. She has presented the lesson by telling a story with
artistically made visual aids.
4. Did she make use of activities appropriate to the purposes of the lesson?
Yes. She used an analogy--puzzles as an introduction for the subject matter. It made sense that
creating a sentence or sentences is like solving the puzzle because you need to put the correct
puzzles in the correct spaces to create a complete picture of the puzzle. Same thing with
sentence-construction, you need to use the right words, verbs, subjects and predicate to have the
correct sentence/s.
5. How does the teacher facilitate/encourage teacher-students interactions?
The teacher was able to encourage the students to participate by asking questions. But she has
interaction with only FEW students. The teacher should have called 3-5 or more students to
answer the same question.
Not so much at this point, though the video was just part of the whole lesson, Im not sure if it was
conducted at the last part of the lesson. BUT, my only comment is whenever a student gave the
correct answers the teacher should have called 2-3 or more students to repeat the answers. In
this way those who doesnt want or shy to participate will make him/herself to be ready to answer
the question or repeat the answers.
8. What do you perceive to be the teachers strengths that contributed to the success of
his/her demonstration?
The teacher has the mastery of the subject matter, artistically made visual aids and the overall
good strategies in presenting the lesson.
9. Did she encountered any difficulties in the delivery of the lesson? How did she address the
difficulties?
No difficulties at all because she has mastery with the subject matter.
10. What teaching competencies where she able to enhance through her demonstration?
She created a conducive learning environment, students are relaxed and few students were able
to express themselves, and able to deliver unique teaching strategy to make the lesson not
boring.
11. What changes would you make to her teaching-learning practice effective if you were to
teach this lesson again?
I will adapt the good strategy presented by the teacher. I admire her for the unique presentation of
the lesson. BUT If I were the teacher, I will make it more interactive and student-focused. I will
make sure that everyone participated and understood the lesson.
I recommend to make the interaction with the students more active and lively and made sure that
every student participated in the lesson. She shouldnt have allowed students to answer in chorus
or at the same time. She should have called those students who doesnt want or shy to participate
in the activity or recitation.
