1. What are your goals and objectives for this lesson?

My goals for this lesson are to give a social studies lesson that students can easily follow and
apply to their lives since the lesson has to do with rules. This is hopefully a lesson they can easily
apply to and find connections to their lives.

2. What are some specific things you would like observed?

I would like the way in which I manage the time when students are supposed to be working
independently observed. I also want to know if I adapted and applied previous suggestions from
previous lessons appropriately and if the independent practice is more appropriate for their
levels.

To be completed by the Observer:

3. Strengths to continue to build on:

I really like your brainstorming with the class to activate their prior knowledge. Way to be
supportive of all of their answers (correct or not)! You did a wonderful job keeping them quiet
and focused! I like how you kept referring back to what the rule was that was being broken. You
did a perfect amount of stopping to discuss. I like how you called them to transition back to their
seats, gave them clear instructions, and reinforced positive behavior. I think this was a wonderful
lesson! You adapted for their reading and writing levels and allowed them to feel successful
while being challenged. Youre doing awesome! Keep it up!

4. Suggestions for future lessons:

I dont have any suggestions at this time. You listened to my suggestions, adapted appropriately,
and planned an awesome lesson!
