Sketch the classroom layout. How are desks, chairs, tables, teachers desk, computers,
etc. arranged?

All of the student tables are arranged in a U shape around the carpet. The carpet is
where students go for their direct instruction so that they can all face the smartboard. Once
direct instruction is over, students go to their respective assigned seats for small group and
independent work. The reading carpet is where the class goes to sit for read alouds and
word work.
