Advanced Aircraft Reliability Improvement 27 Nov - 1 Dec 2017,

and Maintenance Cost Optimization Kuala Lumpur

Course Summary
This course emphasizes in detail on the background of aircraft maintenance & reliability program, its development and
implementation as part of the Continuous Airworthiness Management in line with requirements of EASA and FAA .

Operators are facing challenges of increasing the reliability levels with operating cost reductions. This course will discuss in
detail on achieving the same objectives within the envelope of Airworthiness of Aircraft. A systematic approach will be
adapted in understanding the concepts of PART 145 requirements, Aircraft Maintenance Program, Reliability Program and
Reliability Management Frame work with integration of ISO 55000 Asset management standard .

Case studies will be discussed with respect to operator fleet and customization will be done through mutually exchangeable
aircraft data. Specific discussion on B737 next generation, A320 NEO, A380s, B787-9 Dream liner, A350 and GE and Trent
Engines will supplement the course with fleet maintenance and costing highlights from IATA and Global Fleet Data.

Within a 5-days period you will be provided with practical approach to develop, implement a statistical reliability program
applicable to LRUs, systems, rotables, engines and airframe and understand in depth the efficiency and effectiveness of
Maintenance and Reliability Program. This will be based on ATA 6-8 Digit program upto subcontract repairs for
rotables/LRUs. One of the key take away of the course will be the implementation strategies for MSG3 and Advanced RCM
III as per standards SAE JA 1011, JA 1012, BS 60812 FMEA, IEC 60812 Reliability Analysis and also the use of advanced
Six Sigma Tools.
