Suggestions for Classroom Applications: Use this app to see the weather for the
week. Create an activity of how students can prepare for the weather in the way
they dress. They are also be able to understand that on days when it is raining
and recess is limited than as a class we can think of alternative strategies.

Pros and Cons of the app from your perspective: A pro for this app would be the
use of finding out the weather in various locations around the world. A con for
this app would be the only use it has is finding the weather.

Suggestions for Classroom Applications: Create a group project for the students
to prepare for a different natural disaster and have them prepare using Disaster
Hero.

Pro: The app is fun and will keep the students interested in the subject.

limited.

Suggestions for Classroom Applications: The app tells of eight different stories
of children from all over the world. Students can be assigned a different story and
present to the class. The students then would have an assignment to compare
with a classmate the differences in their stories. This could also be a group
presentation because about three students will have the same story.

Pro: The app included technology and a story telling feature that bring two

practice and could be used to require a current amount of time for playing math
games in the subject of the week.

Pros and Cons of the app from your perspective: The pro would be that it is free
and could be downloaded onto an apple device. The con would be that internet

material already taught in the class. This could be used as at home practice or to
be used during times when a quick experience is needed between subjects.
