Dr. Kyle understands the value of clean and safe environments as her
great grandparents lost much of their farmable land to strip mining.
Having graduated high school in Flint, Michigan shes been outspoken
about protecting our fundamental human right to clean water. When NC

she drafted a resolution that passed through the statewide Democratic

and gas boom, found that workers in the
drilling industry were 7x more likely to die on
the job than other U.S. workers. We must
protect the $95 billion in GDP and 1.4 million
jobs in fishing, recreation, and tourism that are
threatened by offshore drilling. Ill never

week, our congressman was expected to
host town hall meetings. He was a no-
show. I was proud to do his job for him as
your future Congresswoman. In keeping
with this American tradition dating back to
the Colonial era, I hosted Town Halls in
Smithfield and Wilmington at the Historic
Hannah Block Community USO.
My opponent denies the
scientific reality of climate

Ive been outspoken in fighting to put our fundamental right to
clean water over corporate polluters profits. I am working on
finding innovative policy solutions to identify trends and health
effects from emerging contaminants like Gen X. I am organizing
health care providers who support NCs participation in the
CDCs Environmental Public Health Tracking Network. In
Congress, I will fight the attempts to defund and dismantle the
EPA, because our kids should never be guinea pigs at the hands
of a Fortune 500 polluter.
