Vapor Compression Distillers (VCD) are highly energy efficient distillation systems.
The VCD process recovers heat that is released during the physical state change from
vapor to liquid. The recovered thermal energy is then used back into heating of the
liquid inside the evaporation chamber and the incoming feed liquid. Compare to
traditional distillation process involving typical municipal water, which requires
approximately 2800 watt-hr per gallon distilled, VCD process only requires
approximately 250 watt-hr per gallon or less. That is a COP of 12:1 or more. The VCD
process can produce high purity distilled water with TDS less than 1 ppm. If electricity
cost $0.10/kw-hr, then this high purity distilled water can be produced at about
$0.025/gallon.

ForeverPure distillation systems incorporate the latest technologies in automation
control, thermodynamics, and mechanical design. Operator control is via a full color
touch screen which allows automatic or manual operation, real time process monitoring,
individual component control, online operation instructions, trouble shooting instruction,
and alarm diagnostics. Additional options include data logging and remote monitoring
and control capability.

ForeverPure VCDs utilize the most efficient thermo energy recovery mechanism on the
market, thus enabling the maximum recovery of heat while reducing the overall
dimension of the equipment. Heat exchangers used are plate frame type that can be
quickly opened and cleaned if necessary. However, a built in clean-in-place system can
perform chemical cleaning of the evaporation tank and heat exchangers, ensuring the
optimal efficiency of the VCD system.

In addition, ForeverPure VCDs are designed using latest 3D design software. To

achieve high precision in mechanical assembly, many components are manufactured
using CNC machines.
