Release Graduation/Commencement Information form before the graduation application deadline.

I understand that graduation is dependent on the completion all degree requirements and that completing this form
and/or attending the Commencement Ceremony does not guarantee the conferral of a degree. I understand that a
$25 graduation application fee will be added to my business account.

Steps to Apply for Graduation
1. Contact the Registrars Office to make an appointment for a final graduation check and obtain an Application for Graduation.
Students completing a Masters degree must contact the Graduate Office (A-307) for specific graduate instructions.
2. Complete and sign the application for graduation and submit it to the Registrars Office at time of final graduation check.
3. At the final graduation check, the Registrars Office will evaluate your records to determine if you will complete all graduation
requirements by the end of the term.
4. A $25.00 graduation application fee will be added to your account once your application for graduation is accepted.
5. Make an appointment to meet with your advisor for your major(s) and minor(s) to complete a final degree check. A graduation
clearance form is required for each major and minor you are completing.
6. Once approved for graduation by your advisor, return the signed graduation clearance forms to the Registrars Office.
7. You will be added to a Bb Commencement group where you will receive information about graduation, etc.
8. If you received a Student Loan at any time during your academic career at SE or elsewhere, you will be required to complete the
online student loan exit counseling. You may do this at www.studentloans.gov or contact the Financial Aid Office.
