i.e, 100mAH....how many hours will it last when it is connected to circuit of 5mA
consumption....Ans is 20 Hrs....

for various time periods.....

1. What is a function?? What is recursive function?

Ans: Function is a set of statements. It is a self defined program. Recursive functions are those
which call by themselves.

2. Which data structure is first in first out?

Ans: Queue is FIFO data structure.

3. What did you learn in control systems?

Ans: The subject deals with the minimisation of number of components used and plots of
different filter circuits.

4. What is a Microprocessor? Give a real application of it.

Ans: Microprocessor is an electronic device which accepts inputs and gives outputs according to
the program specified. Traffic signal light is an example.

5. What is Coulombs law?? Where do we use it?

Ans: F= q1*q2/(4*pi*e*r*r); It is the basic definition that led to Electric field which is very
important parameter in communications.

6. What is Digital Electronics?

Ans: Digital Electronics is the subject that deals with inputs and outputs in binary form and
different types of gates.

VLSI Panel:

1. What is VLSI?
Ans: VLSI deals with the designing of a chip

2. What are the different stages till VLSI?

Ans: SSI, MSI, LSI etc.

3. Draw some of the basic gates and their symbols.

Ans: When a particular gate is drawn its truth table must also be presented.

4. Define sampling theorem.

Ans: When a signal is sampled at a rate at least twice of its maximum frequency then the signal
can be reproduced.

5. Which is better among AM and FM? Why?

Ans: FM is much better than AM as it is more immune to noise.

6. Why do we use a reflector?

Ans: A reflector is used to reflect the signal on to the main antenna.

7. What material is used to make antenna?

Ans: Its made with a light weighted alloy like steel.

8. Why do we use clock in Digital Systems?

Ans: To synchronise.

9. Give the operation of MOSFET.

Ans: When gate voltage is to be applied to create a channel and drain voltage is applied to give
energy to electrons to move from source to drain.
