Approximate approach subject: The idealized system with finite number of concentrated mass
is considered instead real structure of a frame with continuously distributed mass. Each bar of
a frame should be shared at least to m=5 intervals of the same length (preferably). Length of
interval:

Horizontal bar = = 0.2m

Vertical bar = = 0.16 m

4. MATRIX OF COMPLIANCE COEFFICIENTS.
Using corresponding equations given above the compliance coefficients were calculated and
their matrix is placed in follow table. The of yellow triangle is obtained by first equation, gray
rectangle by second equation, blue triangle by third equation. Non-colored part of matrix
is obtained using symmetry of the compliance matrix. Remark about technique of calculation
in Excel: into the limits of each color the corresponding equation should be released for point
= with fixed parameters with subscript and should be continued for all other points >
of line in given limit.

Next operation: each line of the matrix of compliance coefficients must be multiplied to
corresponding vector-line of mass New matrix named as d is shown in follow table.

Matrix d together with earlier mentioned vector mas should be exported to MATLAB. Using
the special program work_5 the eigenvalues, the eigenfrequencies and the eigenmodes of the
matrix were obtained. In the program work_5 the result of the eigenfrequencies analysis is
given by vector x and it is imported to EXCEL.

6. REE OSCILLATION MODES (EIGENMODES)
After calculation of the eigenmodes they are normalized: all values were divided to the largest
magnitude of corresponding mode. In the program work_5 the result of the eigenmodes
analysis is given by the matrix nforma and it is imported to EXCEL.

In follow table the eigenmode matrix nforma is presented. Each eigenmode is presented by
corresponding column.

7. CHECK EIGENMODES ORTHOGONALITY
Condition and modal masses determination Orthogonality condition: scalar production of two
modes with weight-vector

, =
= {

=1
0, ,

Scalar production any mode to itself is not zero and is called as a modal mass:

2
= ( )
=
=1

but for different modes already is equal to zero.

In the program work_5 the result of the orthogonality checking is given by the matrix sp that
can be imported to EXCEL. This matrix is presented below.

CONCLUSIONS:
All the main diagonal components (modal masses) are not equal to 0, but other components
are scalar productions of different modes and all practically equal to zero. It means that the
problem solution is correct.
