Mighty Knights Trophy 2017 Under-13 Cricket Tournament

Date : 16 September (Saturday) 2017


Venue : Sekolah Kebangsaan Kampung Jawa
Address : Jalan Kota Raja. 41000 Klang. Selangor.
Time : 8:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Age Group : Under-13 (Born after 1st January 2004)

Rules:
1. This tournament is open to five invited teams comprising thirteen Under-13
registered players.

2. Each team is allowed to nominate 11 players, 12th man and a reserve for every
game. Team Manager must inform to the scorer the names of the 12th and
reserve player before starting of each match.

3. Semi-hard balls will be used, hence batsmen and wicket-keepers must use
gloves and ball-guards, and however helmet and pads are optional.

4. Mode of Competition:
A. Total 16 overs per match, i.e. 8 overs per innings.
B. Minimum of four bowlers are allowed.
C. Each bowler is allowed to bowl a maximum of 2 overs in each match.
D. Wide and No Ball will be given 2 runs + extra runs taken. No extra ball is
given, except in the final over. (In this case, the 8th over)
E. No LBW rule will be applied, but the Mankad rule will be applied.

F. Winning team of each match will be awarded with 2 points. At end of the
day, the team with maximum winning points will be announced the Winner of
the tournament.
G. In the case of two teams with same points, the total run rate will be
considered to announce the Winner of the tournament.
H. All retirements of the batsmen must take place at the end of the over.
I. Retired Batsmen can return to bat only after all other members of the team
that are presented have batted.
J. Attire: All players to wear their own team / club jersey.
K. When a ball pitches more than twice or rolls before reaching the strikers
stump will be called NO BALL.

5. Apart from above rules of play, the standard laws of cricket shall apply.
6. Enjoy playing by observing the true spirit of the game.
7. The Guiding Principle is: Safety and enjoyment of the children playing
cricket, sportsmanship and fair play is the priority.
