Heavenly Light.

If you remember from last time, we were able to get through the first two lines of
the piece and were sounding great. The goal for today is to review that and to get
through as much of the next two lines as we can. Tracey, can you play the first 4
measures so we can all get it back in our ears?

*Tracey plays*

Great, thank you. Now, lets all sing through the first two lines on text as a review.

Lets do it one more time, and this time really listen to each other within your
sections. *add any other 1ds based on listening to the choir*

You all did a nice job of listening, your sound was strong and confident.

Lets take those listening skills and apply them to the next section of the piece,
beginning with the altos. Everyone be an alto and echo me:

Lets now look at the tenor part. Everyone EXCEPT altos, please echo me. Tracey,
would you mind playing with me? Everyone listen closely, this is one of the toughest
places in the piece to hear in all the changing harmonies.

Wonderful singing, everyone. Were almost through learning all of the notes, so
