1. acc c - See the attached class schedule for the reading assignment due
dates. Each week that reading is due, you will report the completion or incompletion of your assigned
reading. The entire reading assignment must be completed on the due date in order to receive any credit.
No credit will be granted to reading completed after the due date. Also included in your participation is
post class reflections on the topics covered in class or in the readings. Please comment in the facebook
group (EBC classes with Matt Swaney) once a week during the course of the class. I am looking for four
comments total in the facebook group that are at least a paragraph long. Check the schedule below.

2. O c !c DUE Sept. 15. - The memory work must be completed in the NAS, ESV or NIV. A
verse is considered memorized when you can say the verse twice flawlessly to your partner in class. The
passage is I Corinthians 15:50-58.

3. a c" c#cTake one of the topics of future eschatology (future age) and create something
from elements revealed in the eschatological passage using your imagination. Maybe it¶s a first person
account of I Cor. 15:50-56, a poem about Rev. 20, or painting of Daniel 7. Ask me if you have questions
about potential projects. I am looking for the particular truth revealed in scripture to be communicated
clearly and creatively. Last minute-rushed projects are obvious and will be graded accordingly.

4. $ c" c ± Take a consecutive four-hour block of time and go to a place where there are no
distractions (beach, hills, park) to be still before the Lord without distractions. In class you will be given a
sealed envelope which is to be opened only during the four-hour time period. These will be handed out in
class on 09.08.10.
