October was another busy
month for our class! A few
highlights include our
prepared classroom lunch
together for Thanksgiving,
our trip to the Frink Centre,
Superhero and hotdog day
and our Halloween
celebrations.
Thank you to all students for
their continued effort in all
classroom subjects! Please
note on November 7th
Progress Reports will go
home. These reports are an
indication of how the year is
progressing. I look forward to
discussing your childs
learning at Parent-Teacher
Interviews.

Trousdale:
As we begin November, I
would like to fill you in on
what has kept us so busy
throughout the month of
Religious Education Word Art
Student Council prepared spook-tacular
activities for Halloween! Thank you for all your
hard work.
October in 6-8 FSL. We spent
the month working on our
unit Galaxie Virtuelle where
we did many reading,
writing, listening and
speaking activities. We played
some different games to help
practice vocabulary and verb
conjugation, worked on
discussion skills and
strategies to determine
meaning in text. Looking
ahead into November, I
expect that we will continue
working on our unit Galaxie
Virtuelle, practice
presentation skills and begin
to read and write longer texts.
