Materials:

Implementations:
-I will give a lesson about feelings and emotions to the whole class.
-I will ask the students if they know what feelings and emotions are
-Then I will ask how people make them feel and why they felt that
way and how their face looked like when they left that way
-Then I will call two students at a time to work with me so they can
draw their faces on the template
-Then at the bottom of the paper they will write down how they feel
today in one word.
-If the students can write themselves, thats great if not I will help
them with that.
Teaching strategies:
Questions: As the students are doing the activity, I will ask them
questions like, how are you feeling today? or why do you feel that
way? or what made you feel that way?
Do-it signals: As the students are making their faces on the
templates about how theyre feeling, I will make statements like
Tell me about the face you drew about yourself.
Reflection:
My activity went really well today because it went how I planned it.
Doing a lesson about feelings and emotions was a really good idea
because everyone got to learn what it means to have emotions and
feelings and the students got to tell me what their thoughts and feelings
were. Some of the students told me how they felt today. For example,
one student told me he was cranky because he didnt get enough sleep
and his brother woke up him really early. The templates are came out
good. My teacher wants to make a classroom book out of everyones
templates and put the book in the classroom for the students to look at
every time. Next time, I will ask the students to write about their
feelings in a sentence if theyre able to for a challenge.
