Help !!!! We still need any old coins or money
you don’t need anymore. The collection tin is
situated in school entrance lobby. On Friday 20th August the Student Council organised a
whole school Pyja ma Day.
Before the day the Council had decided the funds raised
would go to The Centre for Children’s Happiness, which is
an orphanage in Ca mbodia where Tracy Wa tkins taught.
We then made posters to adverti se the event.
The day before we the Council wore thei r Pyja mas a t
morning tea and lunch to promote the day and remind
everyone to wear their pyja mas. To ga ther the money tha t
the school raised, the Council drew a coin trail in the shape
of pyjama s.
We raised $360.70. This was the most we’ve ever made on
a coin trail. THANK Y OU NELSON CENTRAL SCHOOL!!!!!!!
