Our True Colors

What a gorgeous season it has been with the purple Jacaranda trees in full
bloom. We were blessed to show them to Bro. Charlie and Lynn during
their visit to us on their whirlwind Grove Level mission trip. (We even got
new UT shirts sent from a friend but UT keeps losing so maybe they were
on clearance & didn't set her back too much- HA!). Seriously, they gave us
valuable insight into how to improve the mission work here. They were also
such an encouragement to us. We are wrapping up the fourth term of
tutoring this month. This means hammering home the truths of God's Word
to the people. Come and see how God is moving in the rainbow nation of
South Africa.

House Visits Kids Club

We are having up to 23 kids

now attend a class during
house visits in Shiyabazali.
While we do a bible study
with their parents, these
little ones hear of Christ and
his love for them for the
first time. Lynn was in her
element loving on each child
as they colored their Bible
story picture.
Keeping the gospel simple
We have begun teaching English
to the grade 4 class on Tuesday
afternoons. We had to
communicate with flash cards
and hand gestures the first few
weeks. Lynn helped us begin a
phonetics program that has
helped a lot. A GLBC donor also
sponsored 5 new kids bibles
that really help us communicate
the gospel to these new English
speakers in a simple way. Lwasi
is a grade 4 boy that now
attends church with us on
Sundays because of this
initiative. Pray for each child's
salvation in this class.

Jesus loves ME?

Bro. Charlie got to experience
the joy of unpacking God's word
to a little grade 5 boy we tutor
named "Sim". This little boy 9
months ago could not speak
English but now is reading at a
grade 2 level. He had never
heard of Jesus. When Bro.
Charlie explained to him that
Jesus love him and died for him,
Sim said "Jesus loves ME?" He
couldn't believe someone loved
him individually so much as to
die for him. Please pray for this
little boy's soul. That he will
come to know the fullness and
joy of knowing Christ as his
Savior.
Great Women of
the Bible series
God has given us the
opportunity to teach the
gospel during a class called
Life Orientation each week
at Sibong. These are the
grade 7 girls that we mentor
each week. We have studied
the great women of the Bible
which includes Ruth and
Esther. Pray for God to allow
us to teach more of these
class to the boys and girls at
the school next year so they
can come to know Christ.

Prayer Requests
God to provide a person of peace to host a kid's Sunday school
and home group in their home in the community of Cedara beside
Sibongumbomvu school.
Favor with the head master and Head of Departments to be able
to teach more bible classes during the Life Orientation class times
in 2018.
God to provide a children's director soon at Hilton Baptist with a
heart for ALL kids. For members of Hilton Baptist to show
love and understanding to these children and volunteer to teach
them the hope that comes in Jesus Christ.
Safe flights home for the Christmas break.
Elizabeth to lead her floor leaders well and make a maximum
impact for the kingdom on campus. Bless her studying efforts for
finals.
Jacobs exams and upcoming future decisions.
Thomas' mother to recover from her fall quickly. The Holy
Spirits' comfort through the holiday season.
