I am completing this task because time ran short and the
activity needed to be completed before Thanksgiving, so my
supervisor asked me to take over.
I am going to prepare the art supplies and complete a
turkey art with the children.
Objectives:
1. The children will further develop their fine motor skills
(5.3) through tool use, the children will use the popsicle
stick to spread the glue on the feathers.
2. The children will continue to enhance their writing
skills (3.7). The children will write their names on all of
the turkey feathers.
Materials:
- 1 paper plate (per child)
- glue (shared)
- feathers made out of paper (enough per letter of
each childs name)
- marker
- google eyes (per child)
Implementation:
- the children will glue the eyes on the turkey
- the children will then glue the feathers on
- after the feathers are on, the children will write
their names on them
- the children will put their turkeys on the drying
Reflection: - What went well was that all the pieces were
