SPECIAL POWER OF ATTORNEY

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

That I, ROGELIO D. CARBONELL, Filipino, widower, of legal age,

and a resident of Zone 5, Brgy. Old Moriones, Ocampo, Camarines Sur, do
hereby name and constitute my son, GLENN P. CARBONELL, likewise a
Filipino, of legal age, and a resident of Zone 5, Brgy. Old Moriones, Ocampo,
Camarines Sur, to be my true and lawful attorney-in-fact to manage and
conduct all my affairs, and for that purpose in my name and on my behalf to
do and execute all or any of the following acts, deeds and things, to wit:

a. To inquire for and in my behalf, with the Philippine Deposit Insurance

Corporation (PDIC), regarding the status of my piece land which was
mortgaged by me to the Republic Planters Bank (RPB) sometime in
1982;

b. To acquire, for and in my behalf, any and all papers necessary to

facilitate the redemption and/or recovery of my piece of mortgaged
land;

c. To sign any and all documents or whatsoever papers that may be

necessary to carry into full effect the power I have vested upon her; and

d. To do all other acts, deeds, matters and things whatsoever for and in my
behalf to carry out the purpose for which this Special Power of
Attorney is executed as though I am personally present.

HEREBY GIVING AND GRANTING unto my said attorney-in-fact

full power and authority whatsoever requisite or necessary or proper to be
done in or about the premises, as fully to all intents and purposes as I might
or could lawfully do if personally present, and hereby ratifying and
confirming all that my said attorney shall do or cause to be done under and
by virtue of these presents.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
