Company profile

Britannia, a leading food company in India was started 123 years ago in a small house in
kolkatta (then Calcutta). The company yields about rs.8500 cr in revenue. It delivers products
in over categories through 4.2 million retail outlets. Britannia diary had its beginning in 1997
and today they contribute about 10% of companys revenue.

My role in the company is to act as an supervisor to salesman and merchandiser to increase


the sales of the company and see to that the products are aligned as per diamond planogram.
During weekends have to carry out sampling activity to push the sales of cookies (new
launch).
