1. "Temporary facility" means any structure or other man-made. Improvement that can be
readily and completely dismantled and/or. removed from the site when the authorized use
terminates. Temporary facilities by definition, are the means and methods utilized (temporarily)
to affect construction where interim measures are required to support or enhance the
construction sequence. The use of 'temporary facilities' is limited only by imagination and
innovation. Frequently, devising temporary facilities is only part of the challenge. Planning,
organization and logistics are as important as the temporary facility itself, and in many cases,
more important. A construction solution utilizing 'temporary facilities' is only as good as the
users ability to deliver, construct and begin utilization of the (temporary) facility for its intended
use.
