Is there a deadline to pay the Registration Fee?

Your place is not confirmed until your Registration Fee is paid. We recommend candidates
register as soon as possible in order to secure a place on the Training Course as the
courses are filling up very quickly and the Training Courses are very popular. The
Registration Fee must be paid at the time of completing the Online Registration.

Is the Course Fee (2999.00) separate from the Registration Fee (500.00)?
Yes, it is.

When and how do I pay for the Training Course?

There are 2 Options available and you can decide which Option is most suitable for
you.
Payment Option 1 - Pay in full.
If you pay your Training Course Fee in advance (before you start your Training Course) you
can avail of a reduced Training Course Fee of 2,399.00. This fee is due prior to starting the
course. The Training Course Fee must be paid into the same Bank Account where you paid
your Registration Fee.

Payment Option 2 - Pay in instalments by Salary Deduction when you start working
If you wish to pay through salary deductions, the Training Course Fee of 2,999.00 will be
deducted in monthly instalments. The deductions will be as follows: 300.00 per month from
Month 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 9 &10 and 299.00 in Month 11. The full training fee will be paid in
full by Month 11.

Is my job guaranteed if I successfully complete the Training Course?

There are positions available for anybody who successful completes the Training Course
and displays exemplary attitude and behaviour throughout the course.
Do I need to complete a Training Course even if I have a CC Attestation?
Yes, you do. Basics were taught on your Cabin Crew Training Course however each Airline
has its own Practices and Procedures that you will learn during this 6 weeks.

What are the salary expectations?

The salary is between 900 and 1400 net depending on your Base and your flying hours.

How long after the Training Course do I start working?

You are required to travel to your assigned Base the day after you finish the Training Course
and take up employment approximately one week later. Your Supernumerary/Training flights
will take place within this week.

What is an Airport ID?

For security reasons, you will need an Airport Identification Card to access the airport to
operate as Cabin Crew. It is the candidates responsibility to ensure that they have provided
us with all the relevant details and information to obtain an Airport ID. There are different
requirements for different Airports. Please note our ID Department will email you with the
specific ID requirements for your Base once it has been assigned.

Am I obliged to obtain the Airport ID prior to registering for a Training Course?

No, you are not. We will process your first Airport ID during the Training Course.

Am I obliged to obtain the EHIC Card prior to registering for a Training Course?
Yes, you are required to obtain your EHIC Card before travelling to the Training Course.

Am I obliged to obtain the AME Certificate (Aviation Medical Examination) prior to

registering for a Training Course?
No, you are not. You are required to obtain your AME (Aeromedical Examiner) Certificate
prior to starting the Training Course as you must produce this on the 1st day of your training.
Can I express my Base preference?
Unfortunately we cannot take Base preferences into consideration and Bases are strictly
allocated by Ryanair based on their operational requirements. We require full flexibility from
our candidates as you can be based at any of Ryanairs European Bases.

When will I know what my assigned Base is?

Your Base will be assigned approximately 2-3 weeks before the Training Course starts.

Can I change my base?

No, you cant. However you can request a transfer request after 1 year of service.

Can I swap Bases with someone else?

No, you cant. After the Bases have been allocated based on our clients operational
requirements and due to the strict ID requirements it is not possible to change Base.

Can I attend a Training Course if I have a visible tattoo?

No, you cant, visible tattoos are not permitted. A visible tattoo is one that is not covered by
your uniform. If you have tattoos on the back of your neck / front of your neck / your face,
below your shoulder to your wrist, including your hand, or for ladies on or below your knee or
on your feet these are not permitted. Tattoos cannot be covered by a bandage, make-up or
jewellery. If a visible tattoo is discovered during the Training Course it will result in expulsion
from the Training Course.

Getting ready for the Training Course

Do I need to print the Pre-course Study Pack?

Yes, you do. Please bring it with you to the Training Course.

Can I leave the Training Course location for the weekends?

We recommend not to leave the Training Course location during days off so that you can
fully focus on your studies.

Can I miss any days during the Training Course?

No, you cant. Like any course that you would study attendance is compulsory. In six weeks
you will learn an entirely new profession. Each day of the Training Course is dedicated to a
specific training technique and cannot be repeated, hence, it is obligatory that all Trainees
maintain a 100% attendance record. Absenteeism or repeated tardiness will result in
expulsion from the course.

What happens if I fail the Training Course? Can I start the next one? Do I get a refund?
Candidates, who for legitimate reasons must resign from the Training Course prior to its
conclusion, on the basis of written permission by the Instructor, may be able to take up
enrolment in a subsequent Training Course. This will only be possible in the case of written
permission by the Instructor running the course, clearly indicating the possibility for the
applicant to repeat the course. The student must wait a minimum of 6 months before
commencing a subsequent Training Course. In this case the candidate will be required to
pay a further Registration Fee to participate in an ensuing course.
The Training Course Fee of 2,199.00* (if this is paid upfront) is fully refundable if a
candidate fails any of the exams.

Is the Training Course taking place entirely in the Training Course Location?
If you are attending a Training Course in a designated Training Centre, the Practical Training
will generally take place on site.
For all other Training Course Locations, you will be required to travel to complete your
Practical Training. You will spend approximately 2 / 3 days of your Training Course at a
Practical Training Facility. Flights and accommodation required when travelling to complete
Practical Training will be organised and arranged by our Training Department.
Whats included in the uniform pack?
Ladies: 1 crew bag, 1 ladies bag, 1 scarf, 2 skirts, 1 ladies belt, 5 blouses, 1 jacket, 1 Hi-Viz
jacket, 1 overcoat.
Gentleman: 1 crew bag, 2 trousers, 5 shirts, 1 tie, 1 jacket, 1 Hi-Viz jacket, 1 overcoat.

Flights

Do I need to book my own flights to the Training Course location?

No, you dont. We will be in contact with you to organise your flights to the location of the
Training Course and will book flights for you once on the Ryanair Network.

When will I receive my flight details?

You will receive your flight details approximately 5 days before the Training Course starts by
email.

When do I leave for the Training Course?

You will be travelling to the Training Course location generally the day before it starts.

How much luggage can I take with me?

You are allowed to bring two pieces of luggage to check in (2 x 20 kg bags not 1 x 40 kg
bag) also 1 x Cabin Bag of 10 kg. Regarding size of the Cabin Luggage please refer to the
Ryanair website.

Is anyone waiting for me at the Airport?

If you are attending our Training Course in Hahn, Germany, one of my colleagues will meet
you at the Airport upon your arrival and hold a short briefing.
If you are attending one of our local Training Courses (outside of Hahn) you will need to
organise your own transport to your accommodation and to the Training Course location.

When do I need to pay the accommodation fee?

You are required to complete the Accommodation Fee Payment prior your arrival to the
Training Course. Accommodation is only available in Hahn.

Is food included in the accommodation fee?

No, it is not. However there are shops and restaurants nearby. Also there is a snack van
outside the Training Centre every morning during your break.

Is Wi-Fi available at the accommodation?

There is Wi-Fi available in the common areas of the hotel and also in the Training Centre.

Is there a kitchen in the accommodation?

Yes, there is.

Is there laundry service available?

There is self-service launderette available for a small fee.

Required Paperwork

When do I need to apply for the Criminal Record Check (CRC)?

In case of an Airport ID the Criminal Record Check is only valid for 10 weeks from the date
of issue and it must remain valid throughout the whole 6 week Training Course. Please take
this into consideration when applying for your Criminal Record Check.

From which countries do I need to obtain a Criminal Record Check (CRC)?

You will need to provide a CRC from your home country (the country where your Passport
was issued). Also if you have lived in any Country during the last 5 years for 6 months or
more, you will need to supply a Police Clearance Certificate / Criminal Record Check from
that Country.
What type of References am I required to provide for my Airport ID?
The ID department will contact you approximately 2-3 weeks before the Training Course
starts and explain exactly what type of References you will need to provide.

Is the Medical Examination included in the Training Course Fee?

No, it isnt. You must provide your own AME Certificate on the 1 st Day of the Training
Course.

Where can I obtain an AME Certificate?

The type/name of document you are required to obtain from an AME (Aviation Medical
Examiner) is "Cabin Crew Medical Report for Cabin Crew Attestation (CAA) Applicant
or Holder"
Please be advised that this is a special examination that can only be carried out by a
specialized Aeromedical Doctor, i.e. you cannot obtain it from your family doctor, you
need to seek out an Aviation Medical Centre and get the doctors certificate from there. The
Certificate will always be in the Home Country language (whatever Country it was carried out
in) and English.
