Lesson Objective: We will be able to describe the superheroes using adjectives with the help of word cards.

Starter: Engage students interest in todays lesson (3-5 min) 1. Teacher gives a set of jigsaw puzzle to each group. Innovation/Technology
2. Pupils solve the jigsaw puzzle to reveal pictures of superheroes.
3. Pupils talk about the superheroes.

Teacher Instruction- This is when the teacher explains a
new concept or idea (direct teacher instruction should be one
minute per each year of the student- ie if the student is 7 years old-
teacher direct instruction should only be 7 minutes. If the student is
15 years old-direct teacher instruction should only be 15 min.
1. Teacher explains about the objectives of the day. How is this innovative?/ Use

3. Each group is given a set of word cards containing adjectives.
4. Pupils paste the adjectives that are suitable to their superheroes.
5. Teacher gives 2 sticky notes to each pupil.
6. Pupils need to write one adjective on each sticky note.
7. In each group, pupils need to paste the notes on ones member
body.
8. In 20 seconds, the one member needs to move around in order to
discard the sticky notes.
9. With the adjectives on the remaining sticky notes, each group
needs to create and draw a superhero on a provided paper.
