Welcome to Kindergarten! I am Miss White, your teacher. Class will be held in room 1A.

Dear Parents,

I look forward to having your little one(s) in class this year! I am Samantha White, the
Kindergarten teacher. We will be learning the alphabet, animals, colors, numbers 1-100, coloring
inside the lines, how to safely use scissors, cut things out,etc. I have wanted to be an elementary
school teacher for many years. I received my Associate of Arts in Teaching for Elemntary
Education from SFCC. If you ever have any questions or concerns regarding class or how your
child is doing in class, you can always email me and ask.

Parents there are many ways you can help reinforce what we are learning at school, at home.

- You can help them identify colors of objects around them

- Sing the alphabet before bed at night
- Count things throughout the house
- Have play dates with other students of the class, have the play date themed on what is
being learned that week!
