Starter 1. Teacher recall the previous lesson by asking
question:
What have you been learning during
your last class?
Can you name some examples that you
have learnt?

Can you name some fruits that we have
learnt?
2. Teacher asks each group to look under their
table and find the mystery envelope.
3. Teacher gives instruction for the activity.
Please open your envelope.
Please arrange the puzzle pieces.
Each envelope has different animals in
it. (5 farm animals, 5 wild animals)

4. Gambit for the first group that finished the
puzzle.

5. Teacher asks pupils to paste their farm animal
pictures on the whiteboard.
6. Pupils say out loud name of the animals on the
whiteboard.
7. Teacher share the LO and SC with the pupils
and ask them what are their expectations for
todays lesson.

Main Activities ACTIVITY 1: SHARE AND TURN

1. Teacher recalls pupils knowledge by asking


questions.

Can you name farm animals that you
know?
2. Teacher distributes an A3 paper to each group.
3. Teacher asks each group to make their own I-
Think map and list out the name of farm animals
by referring to the animals on the whiteboard.
4. Pupils need to take turn to do the activity.

5. Then, each group are asked to paste their


works on the wall.(Gallery walk)
6. Each group needs to do a gallery walk to see
their friends work.
7. Pupils are asked to leave comments by using
sticky notes provided by the teacher based on
their friends work. (AfL)
8. Teacher refers to SC1.

ACTIVITY 2: MYSTERY BAG


1. Teacher asks 5 different pupils to come in front
and take out one flash card each. (picture of
5 farm animals baby)
2. Pupils need to paste it next to the animals
mother.
3. Teacher say out loud name of the baby
animals and pupils need to repeat after
teacher. (do this step 3 times)
4. Teacher distributes each group with worksheet.
(Differentiation)

5. Then, each group are asked to change their


worksheet with others group.
6. Pupils will check and mark their friend
worksheet by referring to the answer pasted at
the display board.
7. Pupils are asked to leave comments. (AfL)
8. Teacher refers to SC2.

Plenary ACTIVITY: LETS SING

1. Teacher plays mp3 song Old Macdonald Had


a Farm and asks pupils to sing along.
2. Teacher asks questions to recalls on what the
pupils have learned today.
3. Teacher checks the LO and SC with the pupils.
