TTW ask students to discuss the message of this political cartoon drawn by Ben Franklin.

Lesson:
DAY 1 TTW introduce the first part of the assignment. Students will be given a detailed
instruction sheet on how to use the website SmartDraw via Google Classroom. TSW then
independently use SmartDraw to create a timeline of significant events in the American
Revolution. Student timelines should include causes of the American Revolution, the official
beginning of the American Revolution, at least one battle, and the event that officially ended
the American Revolution.
DAY 2 TTW model how to use the app Get-Puppet. Students will be given a detailed
instruction sheet on how to use the app Get-Puppet via Google Classroom. TSW then in
small groups create a Get-Puppet project that summarized the American Revolution
describing the beginning, middle, and end. Students will submit this assignment on Google
Classroom.
Day 3 TSW present their Get-Puppet project to the class. Students will be scored by their

Accommodations and Modifications: Identify and describe accommodations/modifications needed so the students
