Welcoming March

Into Miss Weiners

1st Grade Classroom!

Welcome to another exciting month in the first grade classroom of

the students in Miss Weiners room!

First and foremost I would like to thank all of the parents and
families who volunteered to work our Valentines Day party last
month! Also, a very sincere Thank you! is extended to those whom
sent in treat bags full of love for all of the classmates in our room!

This month is full of exciting new learning concepts and fun activities
for students to become engaged in. Students will continue to
expand their knowledge and love for learning! We will begin the
month by celebrating the birthday of Dr. Seuss while reading many
of the popular books left behind! As we move farther into the
month, students will focus their studies around a number of St.
Patricks Day related activities! Finally, right before Spring Break
students will partake in a workshop focused around the ideals of
diversity, how everyone is special, and the qualities of How to be
a Good Friend.

I encourage you to take advantage of the activities outlined in this

newsletter to become involved in our classroom as well as promote
learning at home!
Thank you once again for being such a vital part of our
classroom!
