Daywise Itinerary

Welcome to Helsinki.
Today, you embark on a spectacular tour of Scandinavia as you board your flight to the Finnish Capital, Helsinki. On arrival into Helsinki
Day 01 you will be greeted by your friendly Thomas Cook Tour Manager or a local representative outside the baggage hall who will transfer you to
your hotel. Check-in and relax in the comforts of your hotel. Tonight, Welcome dinner at an Indian restaurant.

Fly to Rovaniemi - Hometown of Santa Claus - orientation tour of Rovaniemi-guided tour of Arktikum Museum.
After Scandinavian breakfast, proceed to airport to take a flight to Rovaniemi known for being the official home town of Santa Clause. On
Day 02 Arrival proceed to the hotel and check in. Today Lunch is on your own. Later we proceed for the orientation of Rovaniemi and the guided
tour of Arktikum Museum, a museum and science center exploring the Arctic region and the history of Finnish Lapland. Later we have
dinner at an Indian restaurant and proceed to the hotel.

Visit the Santa Clause Village - Enjoy a Husky Ride (only in April) or we visit the Rauna zoo (May onwards).
After Scandinavian breakfast, proceed to visit the Santa Clause Village here you have some free time to explore the village on your own. Later we drive
Day 03 to Reindeer farm. Lunch will be provided. Enjoy a Husky Ride (only in April) or we visit the Rauna zoo the northernmost zoo in the world (May onwards).
Later we proceed to the hotel. In the evening we have dinner at Indian restaurant and drive to your hotel.

Fly to Helsinki - Guided city tour - Board cruise to Stockholm.


After Scandinavian breakfast, check out and proceed to airport to take a flight to Helsinki. On arrival proceed on a tour of this city with an
Day 04 experienced English-speaking local guide. Enjoy the sights of this beautiful city that range from neoclassical to modern. See the Senate
Square, the Lutheran Tempelliauki Church or 'Rocky church of Helsinki', which is quarried out of natural bedrock, the marvelous Sibelius
Park, the Presidential Palace, Finland Hall, Opera House and many more interesting sights. This afternoon, enjoy an Indian lunch. Later,
board the luxurious cruise for a fascinating voyage across the Baltic Sea and through the Swedish archipelago to Stockholm. Tonight, enjoy
continental buffet dinner on board the cruise. After dinner, you can dance the night away in the nightclub, linger in the various shops, or
enjoy the scenery, as we cruise to Stockholm in style.

Guided city tour of Stockholm - visit the famous Vasa Museum.
After Scandinavian breakfast on board the cruise, disembark at the picturesque city of Stockholm often called 'Beauty on Water', situated
Day 05 on an archipelago of 14 islands between Lake Mälaren and the Baltic Sea. Next, proceed for a tour of the Swedish capital
accompanied by an experienced local English speaking guide. See the glamorous City Hall, an impressive building, both in terms of
architecture and artistic embellishments, where every year the Nobel Prize banquette takes place, Also see the Royal Palace and the
Cathedral. Next visit the famous Vasa Museum, housing the majestic 17th century royal warship Vasa, which sank on her maiden voyage in
1628 and was salvaged in 1961. Today, Lunch is on your own. Later you have some free time to enjoy this beautiful city on your own. Later

Drive to Oslo - visit the town of Karlstad.


After Scandinavian breakfast, sit back and relax in your coach, as we drive to Oslo - the Viking capital where fjords and mountains meet.
Day 06 Enroute, visit the town of Karlstad, situated between the cities of Stockholm and Oslo. Lying on the northern shores of Lake Vanern this
town which is bisected by the Klaralven River. This afternoon, Indian lunch will be provided. On arrival into Oslo, check in and relax in the
comforts of your hotel. Tonight, dinner at an Indian restaurant.

Guided city tour of Oslo - visit Vigeland Sculpture Park - visit the Viking Ship Museum-visit the Hollmenkollen Ski Jump
area.
Day 07 After Scandinavian breakfast, proceed for a tour of this marvelous city with an experienced English speaking local guide. Visit the
magnificent and unique Vigeland Sculpture Park, the highlight of your city tour. Later, we visit the Viking Ship Museum, where you can see
remarkably preserved Viking Ships. This museum offers a wide collection of artefacts from the Viking Period. Norway is often called the
'Cradle of Skiing' which you will encounter when you visit the Hollmenkollen Ski Jump area, to admire the dizzying panorama. Enjoy these
special sights and many more on your guided tour. This afternoon, enjoy an Indian lunch. Evening is free to explore the city of Oslo on your
own. Later have dinner an Indian Restaurant.

Day 08 Today, after Scandinavian breakfast, check out and get ready to travel on one of Norway's most popular trips 'Norway in a nutshell'. A
combination of spectacular train rides and impressive trips by boat and bus. Be spellbound as you travel through some of the most
magnificent scenery in Fjord Norway. Today Lunch is provided. You will be first transferred to the station to board your scenic train to
Myrdal, where you change to the Flam railway line, a masterpiece of engineering set in wild and wonderful scenery to travel to Flam. Feast
your eyes on the ever-changing panorama of huge mountains and thundering waterfalls as the train glides through tunnels and open
stretches on its way down to wild Flam valley. Wander around the idyllic countryside, before embarking on an enchanting boat ride through
the spectacular fjords. Be amazed with the splendid scenery as the boat takes you from Aurlandsfjord into the Naeroyfjord, one of the
narrowest fjords in Europe, surrounded by mighty mountains of up to 1800 meters. On arrival at scenic Gudvangen, board your coach as
you travel through the impressive Norwegian landscape to Bergen. Pass charming villages before arriving into Bergen, 'the Gateway to the
Fjords'. Later have dinner at Indian Restaurant.

Guided city tour of Bergen - ride on the Funicular train- fly to Copenhagen.
This morning, after Scandinavian breakfast, you will be accompanied by an experienced English-speaking local guide for your city tour of
Day 09 Bergen. Bergen is an international town with small-town charm and atmosphere, surrounded by seven rounded, lush mountains. The
Hanseatic wharf Bryggen with its pastel-colour wooden houses, winding cobblestone streets, and Old Bergen are just a few of the many
attractions that make Bergen a real place of enchantment. Next, take a fun filled ride on the Funicular train, to the top of the mountain and
enjoy the panoramic and uninterrupted views of the city and its surroundings. Here, you will also have a chance to shop at the many
exciting outlets. Today Lunch is on your own. Later, this afternoon proceed to the airport to catch your flight for Copenhagen. Arrive at
Copenhagen and check-in to the hotel. Later have dinner at an Indian Restaurant.

Guided city tour of Copenhagen - visit Carlsberg Brewery-visit the famous Tivoli Gardens.
After Scandinavian breakfast, proceed with your English-speaking local guide for a tour of Scandinavia's largest and liveliest metropolis.
Day 10 See the City Hall, the Parliament building, the Amalienborg Palace, which is the home of the royal family, the Stock Exchange, Gefion
fountain, Little Mermaid and many other interesting sights. Later we will visit one of the most famous Danish beer brands - Carlsberg
Brewery. Here you will learn about the brewing process, see the collection of over 21,000 beer bottles from all over the world. Enjoy Indian
Lunch. Later visit the famous Tivoli Gardens. Here you will have an opportunity to enjoy the various rides on your own. Later, Dinner at an
Indian restaurant.

The company reserves the right to cancel any Tour prior to the departure, without assigning any reason. In such an event, all
monies paid by you will be fully refunded forthwith in Indian Rupees currency only, but no compensation will be payable. In
case of cruises, 100% of the cruise cost paid will be forfeited in case of any cancellations, irrespective of time of cancellation.
Taxes as applicable extra.
The company cannot assume responsibility for any additional cost or any fees relating to the issuance and / or cancellation
of air tickets or other arrangements not done through the company.
The company reserves the right to forfeit the booking deposit in case of any cancellations. However, passengers whose
visas are not granted by the consulates must intimate us at-least 45 days in advance of the date of
commencement/departure of the tour, at which time the company will deduct INR 7,000/- per person towards Guidance
Charges over and above any other actual expenses, if any, incurred and refund the balance amount. Taxes as applicable
extra.
However if such intimation is received after the said period of 45 days prior to the date of commencement/departure of the
tour, the cancellation charges will be applicable as per the cancellation rules mentioned above.

PAYMENTS
All payments towards the tour cost must be made by the client to the company in accordance with the procedure and time
frame mentioned herein below. All payments made within 10 days prior to the tour departure date will have to be paid in
cash/Demand Draft. Customer PAN number is mandatory for all transactions. Payments made towards the foreign exchange
component of your tour will be calculated as per the ROE (rate of exchange) of that given day.

If you wish to travel in advance i.e., before the published departure date as mentioned in the brochure or like to come
back on a later date after the tour ends, there will be an additional charge that will be applicable (subject to
Availability of seats for the given dates and ticket validity) which will be advised to you by your sales staff / travel
agent.
Kindly note, the deviation will be actioned only 30 days prior to departure date.

VISA REQUIREMENTS

Multiple entry Schengen visa. The cost of the Schengen visa is included in your tour price.
This cost includes documentation, processing and consulate fees.
The Schengen Visa on your tour is valid for travel to Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark (In case of any change
in the European Community visa policy, additional charges will be applicable.)

Insurance

Normal insurance charges for the duration of the tour are included in the tour price. However, any passenger above
the age of 60 years and those who wish to extend their stay will be required to pay additional charges.
Things to Note

POINTS TO BE NOTED

Passengers joining this tour must travel to / from the hub city at their own expense.
The airfare is based on the fare structure existing as on 15th September 2016. Any further increase in the airfare due
to an increase in the fuel price, change in Government regulations, taxes, etc., charged by the airline will have to be
borne by the passengers. Thomas Cook will not be held responsible for the same.
Indian Lunches and Dinners are pre set and a-la carte is not possible.
Breakfast will be buffet which includes tea, coffee, cereal, juice, bread, butter, hot eggs and fruits.
Any damages caused to the hotel rooms / Coach during your stay, shall be payable by the passengers. Thomas
Cook will not be liable for the same.
The company shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss, baggage loss, injury, accident,
death, breakdown or irregularity, which may occur in carrying out the tour arrangement, weather conditions, strikes,
war, quarantine and any other cause whatsoever and all such loss or expense must be borne by the passengers.
Insurance policies must be carried while on tour.
The management reserves the right to claim any additional expenses incurred due to delay or changes in schedules
of train, aeroplane, bus, ship or other services.
Due to private coaches being forbidden inside the cities most of your sightseeing will be done by local buses and by
foot. The tour manager and the driver will do their best to get you as close to the monuments as possible.
Due to major international events and trade fairs throughout Europe such as the Olympics games, Air Show, World
Athletic Meet, the Motor Show, Ice Skating Championships etc, the hotels may be blocked out more than two years in
advance. In view of this, you may have to stay in hotels further away from the cities and the itineraries may have to
be altered / amended.
We also reserve the right to substitute a hotel of similar class if it is deemed advisable or necessary.
The Tour Manager reserves the right to amend the itinerary.
We reserve the right to amend, alter, vary or withdraw any particular departure, excursion advertised.
For the convenience of our passengers, we will sometimes amend the itinerary. However all the services will remain
the same.
There are no refunds for any services i.e. meals, sightseeing etc. not utilized on your tour.
A local representative or a driver may only be there to assist you during your initial part of the tour.
In case you decide to change the date of your return reservation once confirmed the exact amount payable to the
airline will be advised once the same is confirmed.
Taxes as applicable.
Tours operated are subject to RBI/GOI regulations. Part of the tour cost will be paid in EURO out of your BTQ at
prevailing rate of exchange.

Cost of ticket taxes, visa fees, and medical insurance is included in your tour price.
As a 3rd person in a triple room, most hotels use rollaway beds and room size may be the same as the double room.
A person 12 years and below is considered a child and above 12 years, an adult.
For prices and departure dates from your hub city please contact our local sales offices/travel agents.
On certain days, we may sometimes amend / reverse the itinerary. However, all the services / inclusions will remain
the same.
All transfers and extensive excursions with entrance fees (as specified in the itinerary) by a deluxe air conditioned
coach and air cool coach in London.
Services of a professional, friendly and multilingual Tour Manager or a local Representative.
On some occasions you may have to join another group in case the group does not have adequate members.
A local representative or a driver may only be there to assist you during your initial part of the tour.
Due to international events and trade fairs all throughout Europe such as Air Show, music festivals, ice skating
championships etc., you may have to stay in hotels further away from the city.
Functioning of Air cooling/Air conditioning in hotels is subject to official declaration of summer by the local authority.
Carlsberg brewery and tivoli gardens might be closed on cetain departures
The church in Rovaniemi is open from June to August
Security alerts and random closures might affect the itinerary.
