Assessment Feedback / Referral Action Plan:

(Only one further opportunity will be given for submission of work that has been deemed unsatisfactory at the time of assessment)
Excellent work Shaz. Youve had a really successful first seven weeks, showing commitment and dedication to completing work to a good
standard.

Your Weebly portfolio is thorough, well-presented and well-organised. The portfolio clearly evidences the different creative media methods
and production skills youve developed whilst completing this section of the course. Creative, technical and personal developments are
reflected on throughout and it is clear to see how contextual learning during research phases has enable you to develop and produce
projects.

Unit 1

In your animation work you have done well to demonstrate how you have used creative ideation tools that feed off research to inspire your
productions. You have used moodboards, mind mapping and storyboards to develop ideas and reflected on how group discussions and
meetings helped you adapt your own ideas or helped you build upon the ideas of others.

In your graphics and digital art work you have shown an ability to develop ideas for products. In addition to this you demonstrate an ability
to de-code connotative meanings (understand the hidden meanings i.e. use of colour) in examples such as typography. From this
knowledge you have been able to plan and develop your own products that communicate information to their audience.

Through your weekly reflective tasks and your final evaluation you have displayed competent ability to reflect on the effectiveness of your
planning and pre-production methods in allowing you to successfully complete projects. Furthermore you have identified areas for
improvement and put forward ideas on how you can improve or develop in future projects.

Unit 2

You have shown an excellent competency in using both physical equipment and specialist software to successfully realise projects.
Through experimental application you have applied a range of production processes evidenced through documents and your work during
pre-production, production and post-production. In your evaluative write up you have compared these techniques and explained the
successes and difficulties you have had utilising them.

During production you have shown a very strong ability at using production processes to help you achieve positive outcomes in your
projects. A wide range of skills is demonstrated through your portfolio of animations, graphics and digital art.

Through your weekly reflective tasks and your final evaluation youve displayed competent ability to reflect on your strengths and areas for
improvement in regards to your production skills. You make clear statements on the way you have developed and how processes and skills
have helped you in individual projects as well in the subject overall.
Developmental Points (How can I improve?)

Add extra detail to review/reflective handouts explaining in detail what you did, how it went, your successes and your
areas for improvements.
Add more reflective writing to tasks discussing the processes you went through to plan and develop your ideas as well as
discussing in depth your design choices.

What does the feedback say?

My feedback as a whole says about how committed and determined I am to complete work and make it
look presentable. Saying how my portfolio is well-organised and well-presented.

It says how in unit 1 Im able to show how my research gives me ideas for my productions. I used Mind
maps and such to help expand my ideas. I have proven that I can expand ideas for products and I also
show how I can understand the hidden messages in productions, This is proven by my typography
analysis. I can reflect on my work, Showing how its good to plan and talking about what I couldve
done better. In unit 2 I have used both physical equipment and specialist software to successfully realise
projects and how I can explain how I can use them successfully and what I had difficult with.

What are the areas in which you need to improve?

-Have more reflective tasks saying how it went and what I could improve.

What can you do to improve in these areas?

-I need to add more detail to my reflect sections, showing what went well and what couldve been done
better.
