Evidence: My favorite player

In this evidence you are going to prepare a presentation about an athlete you
admire. You are going to design a poster and explain why you admire this
person to your partners.

Poster:

Design a creative poster about a sport player you admire. Include images
and information about his / her life, career and achievements.

Here are some tips for the poster:

o Use images to illustrate your ideas rather than text.

o Keep the text short and easy to read.
o Highlight important words using animation or color changes.
o Use big letters.
o Make it colorful.
o Pick a good title.

You can use Microsoft Powerpoint or the tool of your preference to design
this poster.
Explaining the poster:

Record an audio file where you talk about your favorite athlete and describe
the poster.

Include ideas and vocabulary related to sports learned in the study material.
Include at least 6 words from the vocabulary.

Use adverbial clauses in the presentation. Use at least 3 examples from

each category (time, contrast and condition).

Use connectors and punctuation.

Important aspects for the description:

o Why is he / she your favorite athlete?

o How did he / she turn into an athlete?
o What has he / she achieved in his / her professional life?
o What obstacles has he / she run into and how has he / she dealt with
them?

When you finish your work, send the files (the poster and the recording) to
your instructor through the platform as follows:

1. Click the title of this evidence.

2. Click Examinar mi equipo and look for the files in your computer. Make
sure the files are attached.
3. Leave a comment for the instructor (optional).
4. Click Enviar.

Important: The platform will only allow you to submit your files once. Please,
make sure you upload the two (2) files when submitting your evidence.

Criterios de evaluacin
