PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
BERGER Touchwood NC primer Surfacer is a high quality nitro-cellulose based quick drying primer, recommended
for interior wood finishes.
This is designed to be used over natural wood , ply and partical board before application of N.C. Pigmented top coat
Besides protection, it gives rich finish to the top coat.

RECOMMENDED AREAS OF APPLICATION

Natural wood, wood substitutes like ply wood, particleboard, fibre broads, etc.
For indoors use only.

Practical coverage : Practical coverage may depend on surface profile, method of application and weather conditions.

Method of Application : Spray

Thinner : Touchwood Universal Thinner
Thinning ratio (by vol.) : 1 : 2

SURFACE PREPARATION
Proper surface preparation is important to get a good finish. Sand the wooden surface and clean free of any dirt or grease.

Use Touchwood wood Filler to fill the grains of the wood. Sand and remove excess wood filler.

Note : Sanding should be done along the grains only.

APPLICATIONS DETAILS
On the prepared surface apply NC primer Surfacer, which has been thoroughly mixed with thinner in the recommended
thinning ratio.

Allow the surface to dry for 1 - 2 hrs. Sand mildly with Emery paper 400.

Apply 2 - 3 coats depending upon the grain size and type of wood used.

For dark colour top coat, use NC Primer Grey and for light colour top coat used NC Primer White.

Note : Avoid spraying in high humidity.

Safety information and precautions:

Do not apply at temperature below 10C.
Do not over thin.
Work in well-ventilated place. Personal Protective Equipments such as overalls, hand gloves and eye goggles
are recommended.
Keep out of reach of children, store in a cool dry place.
Dispose off in a landfill. Do not dispose in any drain or water channel.
