THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY OF ORANGE COUNTY hereby accuses the
18 aforenamed defendant(s) of violating the law at and within the
19 County of Orange as follows:
20 COUNT 1: On or about December 07, 2013, in violation of Section
21 192(c)(1) of the Penal Code (VEHICULAR MANSLAUGHTER WITH GROSS
NEGLIGENCE), a FELONY, SHANZEH SAJID did unlawfully, and without
22 malice, kill KIANA Y., a human being, while driving a vehicle
23 with gross negligence, and in the commission of an unlawful act,
not amounting to a felony, namely 22350 VC (Unsafe Speed), 22107
24 VC (Unsafe Turning Movement), 21650 VC (Failure to remain on
Right Hand Side of the road), and while driving a vehicle in the
25
commission of a lawful act which might produce death, in an
26 unlawful manner.

1 COUNT 2: On or about December 07, 2013, in violation of Section
23105(a) of the Vehicle Code (RECKLESS DRIVING CAUSING SPECIFIED
2 INJURY), a FELONY, SHANZEH SAJID did unlawfully drive a vehicle
3 upon a highway in willful and wanton disregard for the safety of
persons and property, and proximately cause one and more of the
4 following injuries Bone Fracture to KIMIA Y., a person other
5 than the driver.
6 COUNT 3: On or about December 07, 2013, in violation of Section
7 23105(a) of the Vehicle Code (RECKLESS DRIVING CAUSING SPECIFIED
INJURY), a FELONY, SHANZEH SAJID did unlawfully drive a vehicle
8 upon a highway in willful and wanton disregard for the safety of
9 persons and property, and proximately cause one and more of the
following injuries Protracted Loss Or Impairment Of Function Of
10 a Bodily Member to KLAUDIA D., a person other than the driver.

13 As to Count(s) 1, it is further alleged pursuant to Penal Code
section 1192.8(a), that defendant, SHANZEH SAJID, personally
14 inflicted great bodily injury on KIANA Y., a person other than
15 an accomplice in the commission of the above offense(s).
16 As to Count(s) 1, it is further alleged pursuant to Vehicle Code
17 section 23558, the defendant, SHANZEH SAJID, in one instance of
driving, proximately caused bodily injury and death to more than
18 one victim, KIMIA Y..
