New York Friday prayer leader meets Secretary General of Habilian

According to Habilian Association (terror victims' family) database, in a meeting with

Feisal Abdol Rauf, New York Friday prayer leader, Secretary General of Habilian
Association disclosed new aspects of MKO crimes inside Iran as well as Iraq.
Mr. Abdol Rauf who is a prominent Islamic leader in the West is also an Associate
Professor of Islamic Studies at St. Joseph's College's Brooklyn Campus in Brooklyn,
New York and founder of the Cordoba Initiative which aims to connect the Muslim
world with the West. He has also founded American Society for Muslim
advancement.

In this meeting and along with enumerating MKO crimes in both Iran and Iraq,
Seyyed Mohammad Javad Hshemi Nejad asked Abdol Rauf:" How is it that America
hails change and establishing relationships with Iran while takes advantage of terrorist
groups in order to instigate insecurity and instability inside Iran? Isn't it America's
double standard to designate a group as terrorist and support it at the same time?
Secretary General of Habilian Association referred to the last year report by
distinguished American journalist and news writer Seymour Hersh which unveiled
that the U.S Congress had agreed to a request from President Bush to fund a major
escalation of covert operations against Iran for which the President sought up to four
hundred million dollars in order to covertly destabilize the Islamic Republic in Iran
via applying terrorist groups like MKO, Jundollah and P.K.K and said: after the
downfall of Saddam, it was supposed that terrorist groups be uprooted from Iraq;

but not only it didn't happen but also America changed into major support fro
terrorists in Iraq making obstacles on the way of their expulsion from Iraq.
In this meeting Feisal Abdol Rauf condemned, in his turn, terrorism in all shapes and
demanded the expulsion of all terrorist groups from Iraq. He also hoped that he could
enlighten American politicians and make those who have been deceived by terrorist
groups not to support them any more.
Note worthily New York Friday prayer leader also had a meeting with Iranian Foreign
Minister Manouchehr Mottaki on Sunday.
Human Rights activists from Salah al-Din visited Habilian

A delegation comprising of human rights activists form the Iraqi province of Salah al-
Din met with Secretary General of Habilian Association and emphasized on the
common positions of the two nations.
In this meeting which was initiated with the speech of Secretary General of Habilian,
Seyed Mohammad Javad Hashemi Nejad welcomed the arrival of his guests in the
holy city of Mashhad and said: I'm so happy to host my Iraqi brothers and sisters. I'm
also glad of the current situation allowing the people of Iran and Iraq to travel freely to
each other's country. Right now we have a very special decisive role in the region f
Middle East and taking a look at what happens around us, we could see that there are
some groups and fronts that are after their own benefits. If we take the former corrupt
regimes of the two countries, we would realize that they had many things in common
which are bow followed by terrorist groups and America as well. Shah in Iran and
Saddam in Iraq tried to develop discrepancy and hostility among different groups of
the two countries; the role which is now undertaken by Americans who insist on it and
to do so they take advantage from any tools one of which is creating discord. Saddam
and Shah of Iran had the mission of making disunion and establishing hatred between
the people of Iran and Iraq. After that Americans planned the war against Iran. Also
Saddam staged war against his own people and massacred thousands of his fellow
country men and women; but was suddenly toppled as soon as he became worthless
for Americans.
Secretary General of Habilian Association went on and said: After the overthrow of
Saddam, Americans directly entered the scene and began to interfere in Iraq's internal
affairs while falsely accusing Iran of meddling with Iraq's affairs. They also benefited
from terrorist groups, among which MKO has so far had a major role, to establish
insecurity and instability in Iraq.
Hashemi Nejad highlighted the bloody history of MKO and said: This terrorist
organization tried to make discrepancy between Iran and Iraq in the era of Saddam
Hussein and the continuity of the same policy in the era of American domination over
the Iraqi territory shows that Americans are after the same policies as MKO is.

He also added: In spite of all these plots people of Iraq were aware of what to do and
even the eight-year war couldn’t decrease their eagerness to have closer relationships
with their Iranian brothers. We have experienced during last two years that Iraqis
would be able to govern their country better than any other foreign power if they find
power to determine their fate by themselves. Today the Iraqi people have the ability to
control their country as they managed to outroot many terrorist groups inside Iraq.
According to Americans over 95 percent of the existing terroristsin Iraq come from
Arab countries; but is it possible for them to enter Iraq without the permission and
support from Americans? The answer would undoubtedly be No. Because Americans
need them and their service like they need MKO; but now Iraqi people have found
their way and won't allow the enemies to interfere in their affairs. Once England
wanted to meddle with the internal affairs of Iraq and Iran and tried to impose their
own culture to us; but today is the day of awareness and we know better than any one
how to decide on our fate.

After Hashemi Nejad, Soheil Ahmed Mohsen, head of the Salah al-Din delegation
expressed his gratitude over the hospitality of Habilian Association on behalf of the
group.

Sheikh Khalid Hassan, one of the tribal sheikhs of Salah al-Din, was another speaker
to the meeting who stated: The brotherly relations of Iranians and Iraqis refer back to
the pre-Islam era and has continued until now. We believe that no foreign intruder
could separate us from each other.
He also said: we appreciate Iranian government and people for the favors they have
done to us and call on more helps for standing and fighting against terrorist groups
such as MKO.
The last speaker to the meeting was Naji Sheikh Saed , deputy head of civil society
organization in Salah al-Din province, who asked for more medical support for the
Iraqi patients.
A tribal delegation from Salah al-Din visited Habilian

In a meeting with secretary general of Habilian Association, a delegation comprising

of a number of elders and tribal leaders from the Iraqi province of Salah al-Din got
acquainted with the activities of this organization in the field of human rights.
In this meeting and along with welcoming his guests' arrival in the holy city of
Mashhad, Mohammad Javad Hashemi Nejad underlined the friendly relations between
Iraq and Iraq and also many common points and concerns between the two nations.
He said: Iran and Iraq are located in a crucial and sensitive region of the world and if
it weren’t for the world superpowers, we would be able to change the destiny of the
Middle East region.
Hashemi Nejad also added: We are all aware of the friendship and brotherly relations
between the two nations of Iran and Iraq and no one is able to disturb these relations.
Our close relations and the fact that as two strong highly populated countries we can
play decisive role in the region has now scared many around the world. This is why
we should try harder today to take advantage of the given opportunities. To do so Iran
was the first country to establish embassy in Iraq after the fall of Saddam.
Secretary General of Habilian Association which represents the families of terror
victims in Iran referred to the presence of terrorist groups in Iraq and America's
charges against Iran and said: more than 95 percent of suicide bombers in Iraq are
either national of Arab countries or at least have acquired their trainings in Arab
countries. Now isn't there any possibility for American forces to stand against these
terrorists? Why doesn't the US even make an objection to the issue? The fact is that
not only America doesn't object the issue but also they accuse Iran of supporting
terrorism in Iraq.
Hashemi Nejad went on and said: Since the American-led forces invasion of Iraq in
2003, over one million Iraqis have so far been killed 95 percent of them were
reportedly killed by the suicide bombers from Arab countries. This is while no
document has been offered to the moment that proves Iran's involvement in terrorist
operations inside Iraq or intervention in Iraq's internal affairs.
He added: The United States used all the means to achieve its goals while enjoying
terrorist groups like Al Qaeda and Mujahedin-e Khalq terrorist groups. We are well
aware of the entity of these terrorist groups. MKO is disgusted terrorist group which
has so far killed over 16000 innocent people in Iran and even a larger number in Iraq.
Today the Iraqi government is determined to expel the group from Iraq but American
forces don't let them do that. Now the question is why America supports MKO which
has nothing to do but stage terrorist operations and make discrepancy in Iraq.

After that Sheikh Adil Gelli, vice president of the council of tribes in the province of
Salah al-Din stated: I am very grateful about the kind hospitality Iranian people
extended to us and hope for the day there's no obstacle on the way of our relations.
He also said: I wish the Iranian Government to issue a general amnesty for those
MKO members who haven't done crimes and want to return back to their country
because many of them desire returning to Iran.
Then he referred to the threats by MKO against him and said: after speaking about this
terrorist group, MKO sent threatening letters to me and some other person critical of
the group in which they threatened us with death and warned us that we didn't have
any rights to tell against them.

After that Hashemi Nejad said: You shouldn't expect terrorists to by happy about the
increasing good relationships between the two nations. During past three decades they
have always threatened that they would topple the Islamic Republic and have
repeatedly issued anti Iranian announcements. But this is the only thing they can.
About issuing amnesty I should also underline that The Islamic Republic of Iran has
offered amnesty to those MKO members who were deceived and haven't been
engaged in terrorist operations and many of them have so far returned Iran and are
now leading ordinary lives.

Another speaker to the meeting was Mr. Ahmad Wakil Ahmad who highlighted the
cultural relations between the two nations and expressed his gratitude over the kind
hospitality Iranians extended to the Iraqi delegation.
Habilian Secretary General disclosed MKO plot
According to reliable information MKO ordered the killing of dissident members of
the organization in Camp Ashraf.

"According to reliable information received from Baghdad the leaders of MKO

terrorist group have ordered the killing of a number of dissident members within the
camp Ashraf" said Mohammad Javad Hashemi Nezhad in an interview with Habilian
Association database.
Hashemi-Nezhad pointed out recent statements made by Massoud Rajavi, leader of
the MKO, and said: It's been a long time Rajavi threatens international communities
that there would be a humanitarian disaster in camp Ashraf if the MKO members be
deprived from survival in Iraq.
Secretary General of Habilian Association also underlined decreed self immolation of
a number of MKO members in Paris in 2003 and said: These statements by Rajavi are
certainly intended to repeat the incidents in 2003 in Paris and force elements to burn
themselves to the attention of people and even put pressure on the Iraqi government
and international organizations for approval to the survival of elements in Iraq.
Hashemi-Nejad insisted: we have received reliable information that the MKO leaders
have issued orders for the suppression and killing of the opposition because of the
gradual rise of dissatisfaction and protest by the rank and file members.
He also said: MKO has decided to propagate in the event of death of these elements
that they were killed from disease and lack of medicine for their treatment and uproar
in the media that, as we hear these days, they were killed because the Iraqi
government had refrained from letting the Iraqi doctors and medicines enter the camp.
To do this MKO has been assisted by a number of deceived European MPs and
politicians.
This expert on Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization said: We will soon introduce to all
some documents we have recently received in this regard.
Habilian interview with former adviser to Iraqi president

Habilian interview with Mr. Sadiq al-Musawi, a former adviser to Iraqi President Jalal
Talabani and the head of Iraqi institution of the Iraqi media and international relations
in brief.
Born in Baghdad in 1961 he completed his religious studies in the cities of Tehran and
Qom and studied English and computer sciences until 1993 at the West London
College.
Political activities:
Arrested and then exiled to Iran after the worsening political situation in Iraq in 1980
Sadiq al-Musawi contributed to the founding of the center of democratic movement,
which was founded by a group of political forces in 1998 and participated in the
preparatory meetings of the Conference of the opposition, which was held in New
York late in 1999. These meetings later resulted in the formation of Iraq's national
comprehensive congress.
After the formation of the Government of Mr. Jalal Talabani and Ibrahim al-Jaafari,
he was appointed the adviser to the President of the Republic in 2005.
His numerous articles and television interviews, radio and bold views have been so far
mirrored in more than a decade in the majority of radio as well as TV channels of
Arab and non-Arab countries. Habilian Association has conducted an interview with
Mr. Musawi on the issue of terrorism and the illegal presence of MKO in Iraq…
Habilian: How to apportion terrorists in Iraq?
Mousawi:It seems possible to divide the terrorists in Iraq to 3 kinds of terrorists
coming from outside of Iraq which is al Qaeda, and the remnants of the former
regime, and the presence of the MKO, who is on to sabotage relations between the
new Iraq and the Islamic Republic of Iran through the logistical support for other
terrorist groups and participating directly in terrorist events as well as supporting
Baathis in their interventions in tribal affairs.
Habilian: What are the causes of violence and terrorism in Iraq and why the terrorists
were able to expand their terrorist activities already?
Mousawi: violence and terrorism is linked to a number of reasons, perhaps the most
notable is the presence of U.S. forces in Iraq, and the provision of incubators in some
local areas where the remnants of the former regime are concentrated, in the pursuit of
power and might, under the title of the fight against the presence of U.S. forces. As a
matter of fact the issue of fighting terrorism does not mean just the security aspect but
important aspects, including the issue of national reconciliation, the restoration of
public services which continue to face real problems, such as the availability of these
incubators of terrorism, as a reaction to widespread unemployment in the ranks of the
disbanded Iraqi army in particular.
Habilian: How do you assess the current status of terrorism in Iraq?
Mousawi: Right now terrorism is unable to face up to the growing capacity of the
security services, but may turn into a style of sleeper cells which are active
clandestinely in areas that are critical.
Habilian: MKO has supported the former Iraqi regime in the suppression of the Shiite
uprising in the south and also the massacre of Kurds in the north in 1991, what are the
details of terrorist operations organized by MKO? What is to attract attention in this
area?
Mousawi: The reason why this issue is so much dealt with by the Iraqi people is
Saddam regime's use of militia of another state against his own people, this
indisputable crime of Saddam Hussein's regime was even more reflected to the
existence of this organization in Iraq, because the function set by the system was the
suppression of the Iraqi opposition to the regime, and to take part in suppressing the
Shiites Intifada or the Kurdish uprising in 1991, after the defeat and withdrawal of the
Iraqi military in Kuwait war. All these crimes led to MKO's getting closer to the
mercenaries, which carries out conspiracies and has no political character. This is why
their crimes against the Iraqi people will not easily be erased from the memory of the
Iraqi people and political parties' opposition to Saddam.
Habilian: How would the Iraqi constitution judge MKO presence in Iraq?
Mousawi: Iraqi constitution has a clear answer to this question. According to the
Constitution no terrorist group which threatens the security of Iraq's neighbors has the
right to remain in Iraq or launch military activities from Iraqi soil.
Iraqi doctors meet Secretary General of Habilian

A group of Iraqi doctors from the provinces of Kout, Basra and Baghdad met and
exchanged ideas with secretary general of Habilian Association in the holy city of
Mashhad. In this meeting which was initiated by Hashemi Nezhad's welcoming the
Iraqi delegation, Habilian secretary General expressed his happiness for finding the
opportunity to meet his religious brothers. Then he spoke about the importance of the
role of Iran and Iraq in the region underlining the ancient civilizations of both nations
and also their enormous natural underground wealth for which the western countries
and the world's superpowers have always had eyes. He also highlighted the historical
relations of the people of the two countries and said: We have many things in common
with our Iraqi brothers and have enjoyed strong ties with them through the history.
Referring to the western countries' greed and craving for Iran and Iraq Hashemi
Nezhad also said: The colonizers have always tried to find control over these two
countries and taking a deep look at the current status of the region one could find out
that colonialism has entered the region in order to establish disunion and instability.
To do this they have resorted to terrorist groups like MKO and Al-Qaeda. It's quite
clear that the colonizers are never satisfied with unity and brotherhood in the region
especially between Iran and Iraq.
From this perspective Islamic Republic of Iran has proved within three decades that if
a nation stands on its own feet independent from the world's giants, it could make
progress and see development and that's the point we have reached in spite of all the
sanctions we had to encounter. After the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, the
western countries especially United States tried to set up insecurity inside Iran via
applying terrorist groups Like Mojahedin-e Khalq which has so far killed over 16000
innocent people in Iran. This terrorist group has even committed more crimes in Iraq.
After being expelled from France, MKO leader, Masoud Rajavi, fled to Iraq and came
under direct service of former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein. In fact MKO acted as
Saddam's private army and committed numerous crimes in Iraq among which I should
refer to their bloody hands in the massacre of Kurds and also the help they gave
Saddam in suppressing 1991 Shiites Intifada killing thousands of Iraqis.
Son of Martyr Ayatollah Hashemi Nezhad also drew attention to the current status of
Iran and Iraq and said: today Iraq is experiencing a sensitive and crucial period of time
and if we prove that we have the power to build up our futures by ourselves, we would
be able to bring about a new civilization in the region.

Secretary General of Habilian Association strongly condemned the allegations by the

United States against Iran over its support for terrorism in Iraq and said: head of
information service of American forces in Iraq admitted that 95 percent of suicide
bombers in Iraq are nationals of Arab countries. We know well who brought to
existence Taliban and Al-Qaeda but the question is why they accuse Iran of what they
have brought to the region themselves? Why don't they publicize he names of suicide
bombers so that the Iraqi people could exactly know who they are and where they
come from?

After that Dr. Hussein Ali Hussein who is the head of Iraqi-Iranian friendship society
expressed his happiness from coming to Iran and said: It's a pleasure to be among our
Iranian brothers. We are very much proud of the achievements you have so far gained
and would like to strengthen and extend our relations with you in all fields.
Another speaker to the meeting was Sheikh Hamza Abd Al-Asadi, one of the leaders
of Bani Asad tribe. He mentioned MKO terrorist operations in Iraq and said: We
know this group a terrorist organization; the fact which was officially announced after
the fall of Saddam Hussein in Iraq. We believe that their presence in Iraq is against the
national interests of Iran and Iraq. We know them as hypocrites and demand their
expulsion from Iraq as soon as possible due to the crimes they have committed and
their interference in Iraq's internal affairs.
After that Dr. Riaz Etabi, a professor at the University of Mustansariyah, expressed
his gratefulness towards the Iranian people for the nice hospitality they extend towards
the Iraqi delegations. He also said: Unfortunately a group of media around the world
are going to portrait a negative image of the existing relationships between the two
nations and try to convey that there is hostility and hatred between us. I have seen the
false propaganda they raise against Iran in many satellite channels but the fact is that
we are enjoying strong ties and friendly coexistence with our Iranian brothers. Then
he underlined the support America gives to MKO and said: Both the Iraqi people and
government strongly demand the expulsion of this terrorist group from the Iraqi soil
but America tries to pressure the government not to expel them form the country.

Confirming the statements of Dr. Etabi, Hashemi Nezhad said: I have talked to many
Iraqi officials and over 100 Iraqi delegations during last few years. All of them
demand unanimously the expulsion of MKO from their land. Hey say they would
never let MKO to remain in Iraq any longer if it were their choice; but unfortunately
America is the main barrier on the way of fulfillment of what Iraqis want.
Dr. Ghalib Khazal, a professor at the University of Mustansariyah, also spoke about
the necessity of broadening the activities of nongovernmental organizations in Iraq
and said: we hope we could take advantage of your precious experiences in
establishing NGOs in our country and to follow the process of MKO expulsion from
Iraq through these NGOs.

At the end of the meeting Ms. Nasrin Shamil Abd Al-Hassan, member of Iraqi-Iranian
friendship society, Sheikh Fadil, Secretary General of Bani Hashem, Ms. Hanna
Harras of the Iraq's Christian Community spoke and expressed their ideas over the
Iran-Iraq relations and also the file of MKO terrorists and the necessity of their being
expelled from Iraq.
Meeting with Iraqi media representatives

In a meeting with the representatives of Iraqi media and along with welcoming their
presence in the holy city of Mashhad, secretary general of Habilian Association said:
I'm so happy to meet my Iraqi brothers and friends today and thank God for finding
the opportunity to be with you after so many years we were separated from each other.
It's a pleasure to be among the Iraqi intellectuals and media representatives. As the
ones who deal with cultural matters you would see that our region and generally the
Middle East gas been always exploited by the colonizers and superpowers during last
decades and they were the ones who determined the extent based on which we had the
right to have relations; at the time when the people were deprived of the right to
express their ideas and to enjoy freedom of action.
Hashemi Nejad went on and said: If an American war ship was supposed to arrive in
the region, all the monarchs in the region became afraid of losing their power because
they were not the representatives of their nations but were the agents of the
westerners. But leafing through the book of contemporary history one would
undoubtedly find out that during past three decades and being inspired by the Islamic
revolution in Iran, a movement has been formed in the region among the Muslim
nations and also in other parts of the world and what we se today in Lebanon and
Palestine is to substantiate this claim.
He also went on and said: The current status of Iraq is a good lesson for Americans
and other western governments who never want Iraq's progress. The United States
launched a massive attack on Iraq in order to establish his own puppet government in
Iraq but Iraqi people didn't let them do so and the proof to this is their maintenance in
Iraq. The current situation in Iraq is not desirable for them or else they wouldn't keep
their forces in Iraq.
Appreciating the friendly relations between the two countries Hashemi Nejad also
said: Americans are never satisfied with the friendly relations between the two nations
of Iraq and Iran, so they have started to implement a plan for planting hatred and
hypocrisy between the two nations but their plot is doomed to fail due to the great
awareness of people of Iran and Iraq and now they look for a way out of the region
anyhow.

Then he referred to the achievements of the Islamic Revolution in Iran and also the
external pressures Iranian people have so far faced after the overthrow of Shah and
said: After the victory of the Islamic Revolution we came under the most severe
waves of hostility and hatred of our enemies. During the early years of Iran after the
Revolution terrorist groups such as MKO conducted numerous terrorist operations in
Iran and killed over 16000 innocent people in our country. We have experienced the
worst economical sanctions imposed on us by the superpowers and have always been
accused of violating human rights and democracy and now they are doing their best to
stop our peaceful nuclear activities but thank God we are now one of the few nations
who could launch research satellites and are among the first eight countries with
nuclear technology and his is because of nothing but the unity of the Iranian people.
Son of Ayatollah Hashemi Nejad then highlighted the history of Iraq's great
civilization and said: I 'm sure Iraq will soon regain the status it deserves and would
be among the developed countries.
After Hashmi Nejad, Dr. Sami MAhmoud Al-mashhadani said: The occupiers came to
the region to bring discord and make disunion between Shiites and Sunnis.

Then Dr Walid Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani who is the information manager of Rose

Media institute expressed in his part gratefulness about the hospitality Iranians
extended towards them and said: Our delegation is comprised of a group of
distinguished Iraqi Judges, lawyers and media representatives. We have come from
the Land of Imam Hassan and Imam Hussein (A.S) to convey the warm regards of
Iraqi people to you. We are all aware that the Islamic Revolution has had a great
leader called Imam Khomeini. You have shown and proved to the whole world that
the real Satan is America, the fact we reached to very much later. As a representative
of the Iraqi people I express deep sorrow for the war Saddam Hussein imposed on
you.
He also said: We'd like to invite you and Iranian authorities to have even more
stabilized relationships with us and let us know abut how to use your experiences in
developing our country.

Abdol Reza Halabi who is an international master in Quran was another speaker to the
meeting. He said: I'm so happy to see that many Iraqi clerical students have been
taught in Iran. Iranian people have always treated us the best way and it would be our
pleasure to host you in Iraq.
Then Hashemi Nejad said: The main obstacle on the way of our getting closer is the
issue of security which is brought to the region by America. Right now Iraq suffers
from many economical problems and we like to solve their problems but Americans
never want these problems to be solved.
He also said: Based on the confessions of American authorities over 90 percent of the
terrorist operations in Iraq are launched by terrorist groups who come to Iraq from
Arab countries. But they have never found any clues that Iran has a hand in terrorist
operations inside Iraq. Today people of the two neighboring countries of Iran and Iraq
know better how to stand against their enemies. We would never let our enemies to
determine our fate and to use terrorist groups like MKO inside Iraq to destabilize the
county.
